European Honda 150 MX Championship The Experts’ Experience for the Youths: a video

Last month’s FIM Europe training camp for the Honda 150 European Championship in Albaida (Spain) provided a chance for the riders to familiarise themselves with the four-stroke CRF150R and saw the final selection take place. On hand to help guide and support them were several members of the Honda Racing family: British motocross champion Gordon Crockard, Pata Supersport rider Kyle Smith, Team HRC MXGP rider Gautier Paulin and multiple Honda world champion Jean-Michel Bayle. In addition, FIM Europe President Dr Wolfgang Srb and other experts from the FIM Europe analysed fitness, riding style and mental attitude to assist in providing an all-encompassing youth development package.The latest video from the Honda 150 European Championship focuses on the experience that these individuals had while mentoring the 11-14 year olds in Albaida. The first ITP EMX Quad European Championship of the new season 2015 came to the French region Midi Pyrenees, to Castelnau de Levis, 85 km Nord Est of Toulouse. The weather was fine and warm, up to more than 25°C on Sunday and the track was well prepared. Qualifying        On Saturday the pole position went to the Latvian Edgars Mengelis, 0.64 sec ahead of French Yoann Gillouin, 2.1 sec in front of another French rider, Gregoire Rabat. Fifth position for the European Champion Mike van Grinsven, NED, 3.5 seconds behind the winner.                Race 1    The holeshot went to French rider Gregoire Rabat. The season opener of the FIM Europe Supermono Cup took place this we­ekend at the cute Circuit of Croix en Ternois in the North of France. Jerry van de Bunt (NED) set the fastest lap in the first qualifying practice 0,018 seconds ahead of Austrian Lukas Wimmer and Danish Allan Østli. The second qualifying took place at partly wet conditions, so the lap times could not improve and the starting grid was based on the first qualifying.20 years old Lukas Wimmer dominated the first race with his Krämer KTM in front of Allan Østli (JSB Ducati) and Jerry van de Bunt (Rotax). In the second race Lukas Wimmer made an excursion on the gravel and rejoined in fourth position. In Aragon (Spain), in the context of World Superbike and Supersport Championships, the first round of European Stock 600 and of European Junior Cup took place. FIM Europe STK600 ChampionshipClose fight in the opening round of the FIM Europe STK600 Championship has seen 18 year old Toprak Razgatlioglu (Kawasaki Puccetti Racing) come on top after an exciting last lap decider saw the Turkish rider notch up his 2nd win in the series, following his win as a wildcard in Magny-Cours last year. Michael Ruben Rinaldi (San Carlo Team Italia) scored his first ever podium with a fine ride to 2nd (+0.060s) with Federico Caricasulo (Pata Honda Junior Team) completing the first podium of the weekend for the STK600 riders (+2.647s). European Enduro Championship Second day in Rieti

On the second day of riding Enduro Championship in Rieti (Italy) the defending champion Maurizio Micheluz (in the photo) was unstoppable again: the newly crowned Husqvarna rider again won the overall title of all riders, as thus the E1 class. Second in the overall standings, Tom Sagar: "I have had to switch my style. Yesterday I had problems while riding in the sand at home and now on the local stones. This day it was much better", rejoiced the Briton.In the intermediate state of the championship, the Frenchman Benoit Fortunato is tied for second place. European Trial Championship Second day in Trentino

Italian  Gianluca Tournour (Gas Gas), Frenchman Pierre Sauvage (Sherco) and Italian Valter Feltrinelli (Sherco) climbed the top of the podium, respectively in the Europe, Junior and Over40 classes in the first round of the 2015 FIM Europe Championship as well as second day of competitions within the special area for any kind of off-road vehicles of Pietramurata, near Trento, Italy. In spite of the very good weather and the very dry terrain, in all the classes the difficulties chosen by the organizers were insidious enough to make riders work hard, especially because some of them were not at their ease under the no stop rules, also because in some national championships these rules havenot been applied, yet.New record of entries in the top class: 32, with a total of 105 riders taking their start today. The annual meeting of the Board of the Auditors for the usual internal auditing took place on 10th April at the premises of the General Secretariat in Rome. The meeting was preceded by the election of the Chairman Mr. Laurent Delbroek (FMB). The following day, the 11th April, at the Tiber Hotel in Fiumicino, also the Management Council Meeting was held. Maurizio Micheluz in action The overall champion from last year, the Italian Maurizio Micheluz, won the first day of the season-opener in Rieti (Italy) in front of the French Benoit Fortunato. This shows, that the small motors have been the fastest in the tests, because both riders used the 250cc-motorbikes. Sara Trentini in action British Toby Martyn (Beta) and Italian Sara Trentini (Sherco) topped the first podiums in the Youth and Women class respectively, in Pietramurata, near Trento, North-East of Italy. The 24th edition of the FIM Europe Trials Championship started for the second consecutive year in this closed circuit surrounded by the chain of the Alps. About 70 riders took part split in the classic four categories: two of them reserved to the "weaker sex". European Trial Championship – The season starts in Trentino

A spectacular photo of Ib Andersen: the rider from Norway is one of the favourites In the next week-end the 24th edition of the European Trial championship is going to start in the same venue successfully chosen last year: the mountain village of Pietramurata, surrounded by the Alps chain scenery, in Trentino region, North-East of Italy.   Two days of competitions for all the categories this championship counts. On Saturday on the stage there will be Youth and Women classes, fighting on the 12 sections to be repeated twice in the two loops.
