European Supermono Cup in  Schleiz (Germany)

Van de Bunt scored a double win at the ‘Schleizer Dreieck”: last weekend 32 riders took part to the third round of the FIM Europe Supermono Cup at the Schleizer Dreieck (Germany), which was held as a supporting program during the Superbike IDM-event. This round was born by a cooperation with the KTM Duke Battle and the Pro Mono-riders. YOUTHSTREAM, FIM AND FMB-BMB ARE POSITIVE FOR THE FUTURE

During the Fiat Professional MXGP of Belgium which took place at one of Belgium’s most famous tracks, Lommel, last weekend, the President of the FMB-BMB, Mr Oliver Rougraff, and the General Secretary of the FMB-BMB, Mr Stijn Rentmeesters, had a meeting on behalf of the Belgian Motorcycle Federation, FMB-BMB, with Youthstream President, Mr Giuseppe Luongo, FIM Europe President, Dr Wolfgang Srb, and FIM Board Member, Mr. Jos Driessen concerning the development and future of Motocross, especially focusing on youth activities that will assist and nurture young talent. They also discussed the calendars of the FIM Motocross World Championship and their national championship, and how they will be coordinated in 2017. As a result of the meeting, all parties are feeling positive and excited about the productivity of their cooperation.

A moment of the Conference with the opening by Prof. Gennaro Terracciano On Saturday 30th July 2016, the beautiful green surroundings of the Arcinazzo Highlands, near Rome (Italy), hosted the first edition of the Conference "The highlands on bike", dedicated to the moto-touring and to the ageless passion for the two wheels. The event, organized by the Municipality of Arcinazzo Romano, in cooperation with the University of Studies of Rome "Foro Italico" and with FIM Europe, was patronized by the FIM - International Motorcycle Federation - and by FMI - Italian Motorcycling Federation.The event was attended by professionals, amateurs, local motoclubs and curious people. The purpose of the meeting was the candidature, presented by the Mayor of Arcinazzo Romano Mr. Giacomo Troja, of the Arcinazzo Highlands as site of important National and International moto-touring events.Infact, this area has all that is necessary for this kind of events:•    It is near

The European Championship EMX300 will be back in 2017

MONACO (Principality of Monaco) – Following the release of the provisional calendar for the 2017 FIM Motocross World Championship, which did not include the European Championship EMX300 as a support class, it was bought to Youthstream’s attention that a large number of manufacturers, teams, riders, partners and fans would like to see the EMX300 championship continue. Due to its increase in popularity over the last few years, Youthstream have agreed to add the European Championship EMX300 class to the 2017 MXGP calendar.FIM Europe President, Dr Wolfgang Srb said: "I am very happy about this solution. The EMX300 class has developed very well and it is good for all of the parties involved that this European class remains within the FIM Motocross World Championship".

Youthstream is very delighted to announce that Teutschenthal will host the 2017 MXGP of Germany which will take place on the 14th of May 2017.

EUROPEAN ENDURO AT OGRE (LATVIA) – DAY 2

The Day2 of the third round of European Enduro Championship was held today at Ogre, in Latvia, and also in this occasion the "junior" riders were beaten: the fastest rider of the day was, in fact, Czech Jaromir Romancik again. During the last stages his KTM had electric problems, and it took him time to solve them, but he managed to do it. The junior riders, however, are not too far: Andreas Linusson (in photo1), riding his first European Championship in Latvia, was only 1.26 seconds behind him. And his fellow countryman Jesper Börjesson was only 14 seconds away. Italian Nicolas Pellegrinelli was three minutes early at the time control, thich took him out of the championship points, and this is the reason why he missed taking the lead in the overall. EUROPEAN ITP QUAD AT STELPE (LATVIA)

The circuit of Stelpe, in Latvia, hosted the European ITP Quad Motocross European Championship, with 29 riders at the start in a sunny, warm Sunday. Both races  were very intrensting also thanks to the very good organization and preparation of the track, which gave place to safe races.

HONDA 150 EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP AT LOMMEL (BELGIUM) DAY 2

After taking the race win today, Emil Weckman has extended his lead in the Honda 150 European Championship in the deep sand of Lommel at the MXGP of Belgium. After taking the holeshot, Weckman opened up a gap to the rest of the field aboard his CRF150R and maintained it until the chequered flag. The Finn rode a smart race to ensure that he did not take any unnecessary risks on the ever changing and challenging sand track. Teutschenthal overall GP winner Hakon Fredriksen rode hard throughout the moto to try and close the gap to the red plate holder but was unable to gain the required ground. Fredriksen crossed the line second. The battle for third raged throughout the moto between Andrea Adamo and wildcard rider Matheo Miot, with the pair swapping positions throughout the entirety of the race.
