Third round of the 250cc Motocross EC in Russia

The third round of the EMX 250 Motocross European Championship was held yesterday and today in the Russian track of Semigorje during the world MX series event, characterised by rainy weather. The Championship leader the British Mel Pocock (Yamaha) obtained a dramatic victory in the first heat, overtaking Danish Stefan Olsen (Yamaha) in the last corners of the race. The Danish rider started dominating the heat, but he crashed in the last lap with Pocock. The Brit was faster in starting the bike again and crossed the finish line first in a dramatic ending. Third was Dutch Mike Kras (Suzuki) who rode a consistent moto from beginning to end. In the second heat same podium with victory by Mel Pocock in front of Sefan Kjer Olsen and Mike Kras. In the provisional rankings dominance of Mel Pocock with 150 points, followed by Olsen with 124 points. Next round is scheduled

Last round of SEE EMX65 & EMX85 in Globare

The last round of the EMX65/EMX85 in South-Eastern zone was held in Globare (Serbia). The last round of the EMX65 / EMX85 in South-Eastern zone was held in Globare (Serbia). The Bulgarian Hakan HALMI won both races of the last qualification round of the EMX 65 class. On the second and the third place were riders Nikola HRANIC from Croatia and Momchil IVANOV from Bulgaria, also in both races. The riders in EMX 85 class made another great show for the spectators. The winner of both races was Bulgarian Michael IVANOV with Croatian Martin KELAVA finishing two times on the second place. Third place went to Croatian Luka Crnkovic in the first race, while in the second race third place was won by Bulgarian Ivan PETROV. The winners of the qualifying rounds are two Bulgarians: Hakan Halmi in the EMX65 class and Michael Ivanov in the EMX85 class. Final event

Pocock confirms his leadership in EMX250 in Kegums

The second round of the EMX 250 Motocross European Championship was held in Kegums (Latvia) during the world MX series event. The British rider Mel Pocock (Yamaha), after the successful start of St Jean d’Angely, won also both heats in Kegums. Same podium for both heats, with second position to Danish Stefan Kjer Olsen (Yamaha) and third position to Dutch Mike Kras (Suzuki). 3rd round of South-Western Europe EMX65 & EMX85

The 3rd round of the South Western Europe zone of the EMX65 and EMX85 Motocross European Championship events was held this weekend in little San Marino Republic under very hot weather conditions (38°C on Sunday). The circuit, very well prepared and watered. In the EMX65 class the first heat was won by Slovenian rider Luca Milec (KTM), followed by Austrian Rene Hofer (KTM) and Italian Alessandro Facca (KTM). Facca won the second heat in front of Hofer and Milec. In the EMX85 class close battle throughout the race among the top three riders in the standings. The first heat was won by French David Herbreteau (Kawasaki) in front of italian Filippo Zonta (KTM) and Italian Tomas Ragadini (KTM). Results of the SE EMX 65cc & 85cc held in Haskovo

The fourth round of the South-Eastern EMX 65 and 85cc Motocross European Championship was held in Haskovo (Bulgaria). In the EMX65 class, domination of the Bulgarian rider Hakan Halmi, who won both heats. In the first heat second position went to Bulgarian Julian Georgiev and third position to Croatian Nikola Hranic ov. In the second heat, second position went to Croatian Nikola Hranic and third position to Bulgarian Momchil Ivanov. The riders in EMX85 Class made a great show for the spectators . The first heat was won by Bulgarian Michael Ivanov, followed by Bulgarian Ivan Petrov and Croatian Matija Kelava. In the second heat, Petrov took revenge winning the heat in front of Ivanov and Kelava. In the provisional rankings, leadership of Moldavian Igor Cuharcius with 174 points in the EMX65 class and of Bulgarian Michael Ivanov with 187 points in the EMX85 class. Last round of North East EMX65 and EMX85 in Turi

The sixth and last round of the EMX65 / EMX85 in North-Eastern zone was held in Turi (Estonia). In the EMX 65 class victory of Polish rider Patryk Zdunek (KTM) in the first heat in front of Estonian Andreas Hiiemagi (KTM) and Ukrainian Mykola Moskaluk (KTM). In the second heat Hiiemagi managed to arrive first in front of Ukrainian Dmytro Chernov (KTM) and Russian Daniil Baladin (KTM). The EMX 85 class saw the dominance of Latvian rider Tomass Sileika (KTM) who won both heats. In the first race second position went to Latvian Kristers Drevinskis (KTM) and third to Estonian Hendrik Talviku (KTM). In the second heat second position went to Estonian Karl Robert Reinike (KTM) and third position to Drevinskis. Fifth round of the EMX125cc in Uddevalla

The fifth round of the 125cc 2 stroke Motocross European Championship was held today in Uddevalla (Sweden) under different weather conditions. On Saturday when the first race was held, was no rain during the races, but on Sunday heavy rain was in front of the race and during the race it rains also, but not so much. The track was in a very good condition and was drivable for all riders. In the first race Slovenian Tim Gajser (KTM) won in front of Latvian Pauls Jonass (KTM) and Swedish Anton Lundgren (KTM). In the second race it was again Tim Gajser who won the race and Pauls Jonass was again second. Third position was for Norwegian Magne Klingsheim (KTM). The fifth round of the EMX65 / EMX85 in North-Eastern zone and the eight and last round of the EMX Open Motocross European Championship were held in Oborniki (Poland). On a perfect prepared track was the training and qualification held on Saturday. In the EMX 65cc class, the winner of race 1 was Polish Patryk Zdunek (KTM), followed y Estonian Andreas Hiiemagi (KTM) and Ukrainian Mykola Moskaluk (KTM). In the second race the winner was again Patryk Zdunek, followed by Hiiemagi and Moskaluk. The fourth round of the 125cc 2 stroke Motocross European Championship was held today in Bastogne (Belgium). In the first heat victory went to Slovenian Tim Gajser (KTM) in front of Norwegian Magne Klingsheim (KTM) and Latvian Pauls Jonass (KTM). The victory of the second heat went to British James Dunn (KTM), followd by French Nicolas Dercourt (Yamaha) and Slovenian Tim Gajser (KTM). The provisional rankings see the leadership of Tim Gajser with 195 followed by Magne Klingsheim with 133 points. The fifth and last round of the North Western EMX 65cc and 85cc Motocross European Championship was held today in Schwedt (Germany), near the Polish border, with dry and warm weather and a very well prepared track The EMX65 was dominated by has been dominated by Swedish Arwid Makinen (KTM), winner in both races. Danish Bastian Boegh Damm (KTM) took two times the second place and the overall third place went to Swedish Filip Olsson (KTM). The Danish rider Bastian Boegh Damm was the winner of the North West qualification group after 5 rounds (10 heats). In EMX85 the leading riders Dutch Davy Pootjes (KTM), German Tilo Wittlerbaeumler (KTM), British Conrad Mewse (KTM) and German Brian Hsu (Suzuki) gave a spectacular fight with big appreciation by the public.
