3rd round of South-Western Europe EMX65 & EMX85

aboutuemThe 3rd round of the South Western Europe zone of the EMX65 and EMX85 Motocross European Championship events was held this weekend in little San Marino Republic under very hot weather conditions (38°C on Sunday). The circuit, very well prepared and watered.

In the EMX65 class the first heat was won by Slovenian rider Luca Milec (KTM), followed by Austrian Rene Hofer (KTM) and Italian Alessandro Facca (KTM). Facca won the second heat in front of Hofer and Milec.

In the EMX85 class close battle throughout the race among the top three riders in the standings. The first heat was won by French David Herbreteau (Kawasaki) in front of italian Filippo Zonta (KTM) and Italian Tomas Ragadini (KTM). The second heat was won by Zonta, followed by Slovenian Nick Skorja (KTM) and Herbreteau.

The provisional EMX65 South West rankings after 3 races, see the leadership of Luca Milec with 90 points, followed by the Italian Facca Alessandro with 89 points and the Austrian Rene Hofer with 82 points.

The provisional EMX85 South West rankings after 3 races, see the leadership of French David Herbreteau with 96 points, followed by the Italian Filippo Zonta with 86 points and the other Italian Camporese Lorenzo with 82 points.

The fourth event of South West European Motocross 65-85cc Championship is scheduled in Freixo (Portugal) on the 29th of July.
