DAY 1 - Kawasaki rider Alessandro Battig (photo1) from Italy won the title in his class on the first day of the European Enduro Championship final in Kielce, Poland. With a further day victory in the class of the four-stroke machines over 250 cc, he was able to extend his lead up to the mathematical certainty of the title. In the remaining two days of competition he would concentrate on winning the title in the overall standings in addition. There, too, the Italian is in the lead of the European Championship and with his second place in the overall standings on Friday, he has come a little closer to this goal. Although he was beaten by his compatriot, junior Lorenzo Macoritto, he was able to leave behind his direct rivals in the championship, such as the Frenchman Hugo Blanjoue who only finished third. At the end of the second day, two French riders were back on top of the podium in the third round of the European Enduro Championship in Skövde, Sweden: Hugo Blanjoue and his KTM colleague Thomas Dubost are not only riding in the same KTM-team, but both are also personally good friends and fight against each other only in the special tests. Today Blanjoue was 23 seconds ahead after nine special tests and almost one hour of special stage time. With the third position Alessandro Battig defended his leadership in the overall standings, but Blanjoue is already close, at four points. "This weekend didn't go so well for me, I didn't feel so good on the loose ground and on the grass tests. And today I also fell twice," stated the Kawasaki rider from Italy. European Enduro Championship at Skövde (Sweden) – Day 1

2018-08-11-Thomas_Dubost_F_KTM_[Winner overall]
With a total of 160 participants from 13 different Countries, the parc fermé was filled with respectable numbers of riders. The prologue the evening before was simply evaluated as the first special stage of the first day of riding and was actually so short that there were no evaluation advantages. But more than 1.000 spectators from the city of Skövde took the opportunity to take a close look at Enduro. The main focus on Saturday was of course the cross-test on the ski slope, which was almost completely overlooked. After three months without rain this changed in the afternoon - during the last lap it started to rain which was especially good for the dust development. Frenchman Thomas Dubost (in the photo) had already laid the foundation for today's win, with a narrow victory in the prologue: in the end, the KTM-rider was eight seconds ahead of Ronny Kytönen from

Enduro European Championship at Bacau (Romania) - Day2

2018-05-20_Hugo Blanjoue France KTM
The Day2 of the second round of Enduro European Championship was held today at Bacau, in Romania. Despite the rain at night, the track was probably even better than the day before. In addition, there was not so much dust, which had partly led to visibility problems on the first day and the ground was partially more handy. The leader of the overall championship, Italian Alessandro Battig, took his revenge. Yesterday he had lost a lot of time in the difficult uphill, where he had to push and fight, but things went smoothly for the Kawasaki rider today. Already in the first special-test of the day he was able to set the fastest time. In the new modified enduro test, in which the increasingly difficult uphill was cut out, he managed to gain the overall victory in the end of the day. However, young Swede Erik Appelqvist finished dangerously close to
