Enduro European Championship: home-advantage used in Finland On the first day of the Borilli Enduro European Championship 2022 in Sipoo, Finland, local hero Eero Remes won on his Husqvarna: the Finn has already collected three World Championship titles in his active career and, although he actually wanted to hang up his helmet, he couldn't resist the temptation: "I only live 20 minutes from here and I know the terrain and the conditions well. It would be a shame not to have taken the chance to race" he said after the competition. At first it didn't look like Hein had the advantage, because in the demanding extreme test the small rider got stuck in the long stone field and lost more than 40 seconds, which dropped him to sixth place overall. Enduro European Championship: the 2022 Borilli European Enduro Championship enters its second half The 24 MX round 3 will take place this weekend in Sipoo, Finland, just 40 km east of the capital Helsinki. It’s the chance for Belgian Erik Willems to extend his lead in the overall standings: the Husqvarna rider had lost much of his lead due to technical problems in the last round and now it’s time to redeem. His toughest opponent, the Briton Dan Mundell, had already prepared himself the past days in Sweden, with similar ground conditions as in Sipoo. But the three-time Enduro World Champion Eero Remes can also be considered one of the favourites: the Finn will use his home race as guest start in the European Championship. The Enduro European  Championship promotes eco-friendly mobility with a class reserved to electric bikes   Great news for the 2022 Borilli Enduro European Championship! In occasion of the 3rd round in Sipoo, Finland, on 23rd-24th July, a new class reserved to electric bikes will be introduced. This new type of vehicle will arrive within the Championship and will race the same special tests of the “traditional” vehicles. An exciting proving ground for these bikes which have made their appearance on the market years ago. Despite the absence of the traditional sound, they manage to give the same emotions as vehicles with the internal combustion engine. A brand-new and innovative formula aimed at promoting the sustainable mobility. Enduro European Championship: round 2 in Hungary Day 1 In Tamasi, Belgian Erik Willems won again ahead of Englishman Daniel Mundell and thus extended his lead in the Enduro European Championship. But it was a long day, with particular problems for Willems: “I hadn't eaten enough during the day. This gave me slight cramps at the end. We drove for more than eight hours, I'm not used to that. I still have to find the right balance".  His toughest rival was Daniel Mundel, but he could not keep up the Belgian's pace in the cross test. In the end, after 12 special test, his gap added up to 30 seconds, just half a minute. In the E1 class, reigning champion Maurizio Micheluz switched from the Husqvarna two-stroke to the four-stroke. Enduro European Championship: all set for round 2 in Hungary The 2022 Borilli Enduro European Championship continues this weekend with the ELEVEIT MOTOBOOTS ROUND 2#, in Tamasi after only a two-week break. This time the competition takes the riders to Hungary, southeast of Lake Balaton. 100 riders from 13 nations will compete in the special stages starting on Saturday: every day, starting at 9:00 a.m., with four rounds of 40 km . One crosst est, one enduro test and one extreme test per round. The lights will be once more on the duel between Erik Willems from Belgium, the winner of the opening event, and his toughest rival, Dan Mundell from England. But already the very young riders are lying in wait behind them. It remains to be seen whether the juniors from Italy can take their home advantage to Hungary. Superenduro European Championship: Sonny Goggia sails to European Cup victory Season finale for the Superenduro European Championship: the SachsenArena in Riesa, Germany, hosted the last two races of the 2021/2022. Sonny Goggia (KTM) only needed one race victory to bring home the cup. The Italian, whose smooth and relaxed riding style saw him sail through every race this season, left no chance for the Polish Oskar Kaczmarcyk (Gas Gas) who finished second and Aurélien Addesso (Sherco) 3rd. In the final classification of the European Cup, Goggia therefore finished victorious ahead of Addesso Kaczmarcyk. Enduro European Championship Day 1 In the very last special stage, Belgian junior Erik Willems took the overall victory of the first day of riding at the opening round of the Borilli European Enduro Championship in Pietramontecorvino, Italy. Italian Enrico Rinaldi had been leading until the end, but the reigning European Junior Champion admitted that he was not fast enough in the cross test. His adversaries, the Belgian Erik Willems and the Briton Dan Mundell, saw it the other way round. Above all, Mundel struggled in the over 10-minute long Eleveit Enduro test with slower riders in front of him. All three riders were separated by just seven seconds throughout the day and in the end, it was less than a single second, with Willems winner of the day in E2-class and in the overall: the Husqvarna rider, who is only 23 years old, had switched from motocross to enduro

Enduro European Championship to kick-off 2022 season The Borilli Enduro European Championship will kick off the new 2022 season on 19-20 March with some news. New is the Italian promoter Maxim, but even more important are two sporting changes. Firstly, the 50cc class has been revived: until 2014, the class was contested as part of the Enduro European Championship. Now the smallest cubic capacity class is back as the “24MX 50 CC Trophy”. Secondly, the class division for the cubic capacity classes has been adapted to the international standard: in future, as in the World Championship and many national championships, riders will compete in the E1, E2 and E3 classes. The E1 class is for displacement up to 250 cc, regardless of whether it is a four-stroke or a two-stroke bike. The E2 class is reserved to four-stroke over 255 cc up to 450 cc and in the E3 class

Bajas European Championship Cancellation of the race in Ukraine The FIM Europe, together with the Enduro & Rally Commission, announces that due to the current situation the round of the Bajas European Championship in Ukraine is cancelled. The race should have taken place on July 22nd-23rd-24th in the Kherson Oblast Region, in southern Ukraine. All the other races are confirmed.
