European Cross Country Cup at Skýcov (Slovakia)

Image0040
In the last weekend, the second round of the European Cross Country Cup was held at Skýcov, in Slovakia. The track is very rugged and includes all the technical features that the country cross track should contain. The start was placed on the motocross section where the riders take a few jumps, and uphill or downhill runs are not missing. It was quite muddy, due to Friday’s rain, so it was very important to choose the right track. Štefan Svitko from Slovakia, who dominated the two days, was the absolute winner of the race in Skýcov. He won also the Senior European Cup class, In the Junior class the winner was Patrik Halgaš, from Slovakia, too. In the Women class the winner was Gabika Čipková and in the European Cup Quad class the fastest was Juraj Gejdoš, all from Slovakia.
