Cuharciuc and Petrov Leaders in SE EMX 65cc & 85cc

The first round of the South-Eastern EMX 65 and 85cc Motocross European Championship was held on the “MILCI” MX track in Gevgelija (FYROM). No chance for the little riders in EMX 65 Class in front of the Moldavian Igor Cuharciuc (KTM). On the overall second and third place were riders Nikola Hranic from Croatia and Hakan Halmi from Bulgaria. The riders in EMX 85 Class made a great show for the spectators. The winner of the first race was Bulgarian Ivan Petrov (KTM) while Bulgarian Michael Ivanov (KTM) was the first rider who saw the checkered flag in the second race. After first round of the European Motocross Championship in the South-Eastern Zone Bulgarian rider Ivan Petrov is topping the 85cc ranks with 47 points, while in the 65 cc standings Moldavian rider Igor Cuharciuc is first with maximum points. Morozov Dominates EMX Open Round In Kiev

The 2nd round of the EMX Open Motocross European Championship was held in sunny and hot conditions in Kiev (Ukraine). Both races were dominated by home rider Roman Morozov (Yamaha). In the first heat the second position went to Belarus Evgeni Tyletski (KTM) and third Russian Artem Sadilov. In the second heat, Morozov was followed again by Tyletski in second position and Sadilov in the third. The provisional rankings see the leadership of Morozov with 95 points, closely followed by Tyletski with 91 points and Sadilov with 71 points. Tim Gajser winner of the EMX125 in Fermo

The 2nd round of the EMX125 Motocross European Championship was held in Fermo (Italy). The first race was a start to finish win for Slovenian Tim Gajser (KTM), with Dutch rider Calvin Vlaanderen (KTM) finishing second over 30 seconds behind. Third was Latvian rider Pauls Jonass just ahead of Italian Riccardo Righi (KTM). The second race saw again the dominance of Gajser, followed by British James FDunn (KTM) and Norwegian Magne Klingshelm (KTM). The provisional rankings see the leadership of Gajser with 100 points, followed by Bonini with 75 points. Next round is scheduled on the 9th of October in Agueda (Portugal). Pasek wins 1st round of KTM Junior Cup

The 1st round of the new Road Race European KTM Junior Cup class, was run today at the World Championship track of Assen (The Netherlands). The race was extremely exciting with the first tree riders PolishAdrian Pasek (KTM), Dutch Rob Hartog (KTM), and Polish Artur Wielebski (KTM) made quickly a gap, but stayed very close together until the finish, changing positions many times. In the last lap they where side by side on the long straight with final victory by Adrian Pasek and second Hartog. Next round is scheduled on the 6th of May in Monza (Italy). Petrashin & Reinike leaders of the NE EMX65 And EMX 85

The first round of the EMX65/85 North-East Motocross European Championship was held today in Orlyonok (Russia) The EMX 65 class was dominated by Russian Timur Petrashin (KTM), who won both heats. The first one in front of Ukrainian Mykola Moskaluk (KTM) and Belarys Vitali Makhnov (KTM), while in the second head second position went again to Moskaluk and thir to Russian Arseniy Shukaev (KTM). The EMX 85 class saw the victory in both heats of Estonian Karl-Robert Reinike (TBA). In the first heat he lead in front of Russian Makar Yurchenko (Suzuki) and Latvian Kristers Drevinskis (KTM). In the second heat, we was followed by Russian Makar Yurchenko (Suzuki) and Russian Stepan Burdakov (KTM). Next round is scheduled on the 20th of May in Velke Uherce (Slovakia). Gajser Wins Both Heats of the First EMX125cc in Sevlievo

The first round of the EMX125 Motocross European Championship was held today in Sevlievo (Bulgaria) The first race was comfortably won by Slovenian rider Tim Gajser (ktm) who led from start to finish despite crashing near the end of the second lap. Second position went to Spanish Jorge Zaragoza Beltran (Suzuki) and third Italian Davide Bonini (KTM). The second heat was again dominated by Gajser, followed by Bonini and British James Dunn (KTM). Van der Mark wins 2nd round of Superstock 600cc in Assen

The second round of the Superstock 600cc. European Championship was held today in Assen (The Netherlands) Again it was a very fantastic and exciting race. With all standard bikes in this class, there is no speed difference and riders must show a good riders technique. The first four riders Michael Van der Mark (Honda), Nacho Calero Perez (Yamaha), Gauthier Duwels (Yamaha) and Stephane. Egea (Yamaha) made quickly a gap, but stayed very close together until the finish. Changing positions many times. In the last lap they where side by side on the long straight with final victory of Van der Mark. Also after this group, another group of four riders competed together. Rain affects the start of the EMX65 and EMX85 SW

The first round of the South Western Europe EMX65 and EMX85 Motocross European Championship started yesterday in Faenza. Weather conditions were extremely difficult with heavy rain all the time and muddy conditions on the track. The first race of EMX85 must be stopped because of these hard conditions. The winner of this first race was the Italian rider Nicholas LAPUCCI, who was followed by French rider Adrien MALAVAL on second place and Enzo TORANI on third. All other races were cancelled because it was not possible to continue given the rain and the very deep muddy conditions. (UEM Press Release 17/2012)
