A moment of the FIM Europe Management Council in the Tiber Hotel, in Fiumicino, near Rome (Italy) The meeting of the FIM Europe Management Council was held today in Fiumicino, near Rome (Italy). Among the topics that have been discussed were the Report of the President, the Report of the Secretary General Alessandro Sambuco, Sporting as well as Non-Sporting questions (Martin de Graaff and Silvio Manicardi) and the Report of the Treasurer Michal Sikora. “Today’s meeting was one of the most important of the whole year, as the Sporting season 2015 was analysed as well as changes to the Sporting rules and the 2016 calendars were decided”, FIM Europe President Dr Wolfgang Srb stated. “On the Non-Sporting side I want to highlight the cooperation between FIM Europe and FEMA on public affairs.“FIM Europe is dealing with all aspects of Sport, Non-Sport, training and education. Fourth tree planting action in Belgium

Last Saturday, 5th of December, the fourth tree planting action took place in Balen (Belgium). Since 2012, on the initiative of former motocross world champions, Eric Geboers, Joel Smets and Stefan Everts, a tree planting action has been organized with the support of the FMB and the motocross community in Flanders resulting in the fourth motocross CO2 forest. FIM Europe present at Balkan Motorcycle Union meetings in Sofia

All the award winners of the 2015 Championships of the Balkan Motorcycle Union. BMU President Bogdan Nikolov welcomed the Balkan Federations to the meeting, where important topics have been discussed: reports of the various Championships, approval of the results, of the 2016 Calendar as well as the regulations for Motocross, Road Racing, SuperMoto, Cross Country, Enduro and MotoClassic. SuperEnduro European Championship in Lodz (Poland)

Mike Hartmann is the winner of the SuperEnduro European Championship. Photo by Robert Pairan The German rider Mike Hartmann conquered the first title in the SuperEnduro-European Championship at the indoor-event in Lodz (Poland).The GasGas-rider won both heats in front of the Austrian Lars Enöckl on KTM.Third in the championship finished  the local rider Jakub Lukaszczyk with Sherco.The event was held together with the first round of the World SuperEnduro Championship.“The long journey was worth it and the luck was on our side. FIM Europe meets KTM Bosses in Mattighofen (Austria)

FIM Europe President, Dr Wolfgang Srb, with CEO Stefan Pierer and Head of Motorsport Pit Beirer. Upon invitation from KTM, FIM Europe President Dr Wolfgang Srb met on Thursday with the KTM Bosses (CEO Stefan Pierer and Head of Motorsport Pit Beirer) at the headquarters in Mattighofen, Austria. The 2015 season has been evaluated, as well as the plans for 2016 have been discussed. KTM is a major player in the off-road market and the riders have succeeded in many World and European Championships. There are also important activities in Road Racing in the Moto3 class. The MotoGP project will start as of 2017.“The direct contact with the manufacturers is important, as they know best the situation in the markets. Bikes develop year by year and electronics play already a big role; however, we share the same vision that motorsport has to be affordable, especially for young riders”, stated Dr. Srb after the

FFM Press Conference

The traditional group picture at the end of the press conference Yesterday the traditional FFM Press Conference and prize-giving was held. The President Jacques Bolle illustrated the tendency for 2016, so as the FFM decisions and actions for defending and promoting motorcycling. It was also the occasion to celebrate the French riders for their results in the European and World Championships. In particular, in Enduro, Julien Jagu is the Vice-Champion in Enduro Senior 1, David Abgrall won the title of European  Champion in Junior E1, JĂ©rĂ©my Carpentier managed to conquer the title in Junior E2/E3, while Audrey Rossat is the European Vice-Champion. The French rider Johann Zarco won the Moto2 World Championship and the French team won also the Motocross of Nations, in front of a record crowd, with Gautier Paulin, Romain Febvre and Marvin Musquin, and the Supermoto of Nations, with Thomas Chareyre, Sylvain Bidart and Adrien Chareyre.Furthermore, the French rider Maxime Renaux
