European Enduro Cup at Orebro (Sweden)

The European Enduro Cup was held at Orebro, in Sweden. The race is also called Battle of Vikings and the winner of this edition was Mario Roman from Spain, who gained a wide margin. Joakim Ljunggren (Sweden) was second and Magnus Thor (Sweden) finished in third place. All riders seem happy with their results in the toughest battle ever – only 35 riders managed to make one lap or more, and more then 100 riders did not finish before the maximum time elapsed.

“I’m very happy with the track, I didn’t have one sad moment on this track”, stated Mario commentinghis win. “The organisers did a fantastic job. I would gladly come back and win next year’s round, too!”
Joakim Ljunggren was also happy with his second place. “I feel super happy, considering Mario is a factory rider”, stated Joakim. “It felt tough on the first lap, which made me consider if it was too early racing after my crash a few weeks ago. But then it started to go pretty well.
Magnus Thor finished on the podium for the first time in the Battle of Vikings: he looked tired after the race but very satisfied. His bike was dragged for the last meters in Joutunheims wall and it took some time. Mario and Joakim also needed help for the last meters in this hill, where the most of the riders made countless attempts to come up.
