Riders from eight nations were represented at this the third round of the FIM Europe Vintage Road Race Championship.
The World Superbike track of Donington Park was the UK venue for the event and track was in superb shape for racing. The sunny weather of the first day continued and conditions were perfect for second set of European races. The event was well organised by the Classic Racing Motorcycle Club with the added attraction of demonstration laps by former Grand Prix stars Steve Baker, Jim Redman, Sammy Miller and Chas Mortimer.
In the Vintage Road Racing European Championship races double victories were achieved by Richard Molnar on his Molnar Manx, George Hogton-Rusling on his Hercberg Suzuki and Vince Worthington and Paul Thomas in the Sidecar class.
