The last two rounds of ICGP were held at Almeria, in Spain, with 16 participants in front of around 1000 spectators in sunny, hot weather conditions. In Saturday’s practice only Stefan Tennstaedt from Germany had some problems – in 1st QP his engine was broken, in the 2nd he crashed (luckily without consequence). Even though, he snatched the 6th grid position and 2nd in his class behind Vincent Levieux (FRA). Very hard fight for Renaud Binoche (SPA), who at the end signed the second qualifying time behind Mike Edwards (GBR). In Race1 in 350cc class Mike Edwards won with a big margin. He said: “I was always riding at 100%”, at at the beginning of the race he lost 2 positions and had to ride really fast to win.
