On March 23th, at the Metropole Hotel in Belgrade the new appointments in the AMSS-MSS and the 20th anniversary of activity of Bozidar Mihailovic in Serbian institutions of Motorcycling were celebrated.
The festivities were dedicated, first of all, to the election of Bozidar Mihailovic as Chairman of the Executive Board of the MSS and the appointment of Danijel Vastag as Secretary General. But the theme of the evening were the celebrations for the twenty years of activity in the Serbian Motorcycling of Bozidar Mihailovic, who has been a motorcycling rider since 23 years.
Among the guests, the President and the Secretary General of the FIM Europe, a representative of the Serbian Ministry of Sports, the President and the Secretary General of the AMSS, representatives of the Serbian Sport and some of the Motorcycling Federations of the Balkan region, as the Federations of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Montenegro and the Former Yugoslavia Republic of Macedonia. Seizing the opportunity of the presence of the latter, a brief meeting was also held among the representatives of the four Federations (AMSS-MSS, BIHAMK, MFM, MFMA) and those of the FIM Europe to discuss subjects of mutual interest concerning the development of the Motorcycling Sport in the area.
“It was important to be present at this very special function in Belgrade”, stated Dr. Wolfgang Srb, FIM Europe President. “There is now a clear vision within AMSS-MSS and the focus is on the work in the years to come. Bozidar Mihailovic is a legend in Serbia because of all his achievements in sport as well as administration and he and his team will carry out a great job”.
