The final round of the European MX Open Championship is hosted by the city of Sentvid pri Sticni, on a unique oldschool racetrack in the middle of a beautiful area in Slovenia. Because of bad weather the qualifying race scheduled for today was cancelled and instead a qualifying time-practice was held.

Local hero and also FIM MX2 red plate holder Tim Gajser was the fastest, before the Belarusian Tyletski and Slovenian Molnar. The three Czech leaders of the championship, Bartos, Michek and Michalec, qualified respectively in 7th, 4th and 6th position.
The championship title is open to 5 competitors who mathematically can win. The leader Bartos ha only 6 points of advantage on Michek.
There are great expectations for an extreme trilling final, thanks also to the weather forecast, which announces better conditions for tomorrow.
