European Motocross 65cc and 85cc SW Second round in Italy

The second SW Zone European Championship EMX 65/85 came to the Italian town Gazzane di Preseglie with 23 riders in EMX65 and 33 in EMX85. The weather condition early in the morning were bad and raining but after few hours it become sunny +20°C.

Because of bad weather 1st races for EMX65/85 were held on Saturday evening.

Qualification race saw a podium with riders from three Countries: 1st position for French rider Brian Strubhart Moreau, 8,26 sec ahead of Austrian Marcel Strauffer and 10,74 sec in front of Italian Kevin Cristino.
First EMX85 race already from start was dominated by French talent Brian Strubhart Moreau. Second and third position were really close during the all race, but in 12th lap Italian rider Kevin Cristino overtook French rider Thibault Benistant.
After 14 laps Brian Strubhart Moreau crossed the finishing line 7,11sec before Kevin Cristino and  11,41 sec before Thibault Benistant.
In the 2nd race holeshot for Raffaele Giuzio, but after the first lap the young French rider Brian Strubhart Moreau overtook the Italian and held the 1st position for all the race. After 13 laps Brian Strubhart Moreau won with a 26,90 sec gap on Italian Kevin Cristino and Slovenian Maks  Mausser.
Overall of the day – 1) Brian Strubhart Moreau Brian, FRA (50 pts); 2) Kevin Cristino, ITA (44 pts);  3) Mattia Capuzzo, ITA (36 pts).

In qualifying the 1st position went to young French rider Florian Miot and only 0,9  sec after Italians Simone Pavan and 1,9 sec in front of the leader Rocco Bertin.
Race1 saw the good start of Spanish rider Daniela Guillen but in 2nd lap French Florian Miot overtake her. There was fight for 3rd position too between Daniela Guillen and Raul Sanchez. The first to cross the finish line was Florian Miot who was only 0,82 sec faster than Rocco Bertin. 3rd position for Daniela Guillen.
In the second race leader after 1st lap was Italian Luigi Matteo Russi. But shortly French Florian Miot passed to lead the race and won in front of the Italian afand the Spanish rider Andria Monne.
Overall of the day -1) Florian Miot, FRA (50 pts); 2) Rocco Bertin, ITA (40 pts); 3) Adria Monne SPA (36 pts).
