The European Enduro Championship is going to kick off with 193 international riders in Tuscany: the first round of the season will be organised by Motoclub “Costa Etrusca” on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th March, both days from 8.00 in the morning.
The paddock is situated near the motorway exit of Donoratico, centrally located next to the main Via Aurelia Vecchia.
The presentation and opening ceremony will take place at “Cavallino Matto”, the theme-park only a few hundred meters from the paddock.
The demanding and stony track will be about 55 kms long and will be faced by the riders for three times, each lap with three different special stages.
The long and fast cross-test on the grass is only 600 meters from the paddock.
The extreme-test will take place at the edge of the wood, just 3 kms by car.
At about 10 kms the enduro-test will be held: through the woods the riders will find steep up- and downhills, sharp turns around the trees and a lot of roots in the ground in the fight against the clock.
Donoratico has to offer not “only” athletic performances but great landscapes: on one side the sea, on the other vineyards, the amusement park “Cavallino Matto” and the pine-covered roads in the light of the sunset.
