European Classic Series at Aragon (Spain) – Day 1

20161028 ECS Aragon-280 lowThe 4th edition of the European Classic Series started today at the Motorland Aragon circuit, with a total of 32 riders, 23 in the Maxi Classic class, 8 in the Classic 1000 and one in the 750TT class.

The weather conditions were perfect as well as the organization.
After 3 sessions of free practices, followed by 3 sessions of qualifying, plus a one hour night practice, the best lap times went to bike number 61 Team Edge RST Racing with riders Nick Edgeley and Jonny Towers in the Maxi Classic Class; Team Vulcanet with bike 80 and riders Marc Detournay and Arnaud Repaire in Classic 1000; bike 22 from Team Amici Miei in the 750TT class with riders Giancarlo Maestrini and Roberto Catani.20161028 ECS Aragon-53 low
All the riders and mechanics were busy doing their best to tune the machines in a perfect way, although some engines had problems, this was a very safe day with only one crash registered, without any bad consequences for the rider.
We expect an exiting race for tomorrow as the final win in the classes is still open.
