EMX 65 / EMX 85 European Championship North West zone and EMX Women’s European Championship: third round in Denmark

In the weekend of 11th-12th May the 3rd round of North West European Motocross 65 and 85 cc Championship was held in Slagelse (Denmark) together with the 3rd round of Womens European Motocross Championship.
A sunny weather welcomed about 300 spectators to watch the event live in the track. After the technical control there were 30 riders in the EMX65 class, 43 riders in the EMX85 class and 33 riders in the EMX Women class.
EMX65 first heat was won by Czech rider Vitezlav Marek, 15 seconds before Lotte van Drunen (The Netherlands) and 21 seconds before Swedish rider Anton Isakson. The second heat was again won by Vitezslav Marek, this time 1 second before Lotte van Drunen and 11 seconds before Anton Isaksson. The overall standing for this event show Vitezslav Marek first followed by Lotte van Drunen and Anton Isaksson.
EMX85 first heat was won by Danish rider Andreas Krogh Jensen, with a gap of only 1.5 second on Ivano van Erp (NED) and 1.7 seconds before Cas Valk (NED). Fourth place (only 1.8 seconds behind the winner) for Lucas Bruhn (Denmark). Tight race! The fastest rider in the second race was Cas Valk, 3.1 seconds in front of Ivano van Erp and 20 seconds before Lucas Bruhn. In the final score Cas Valk (45p) took the first place before Ivano van Erp (44p) and Andreas Krogh Jensen (40p).
In the EMX Women the first heat of this class was won by Sara Andersen (DEN), in front of Lynn Valk (NED) and Stephanie Laier (GER). In the second heat Sara Andersen again dominated, and won this time before Stephanie Laier and Lynn Valk. In the final score Sara Andersen took the first place before Stephanie Laier and Lynn Valk.
