Vintage Hill Climb meeting in Cheb On Saturday, 15th of November meeting with riders and organisers of 2019 FIM E Vintage Hill Climb Championship was organised in Cheb, Czech Republic. A day has started with meeting with organisers. At the meeting 2019 season was discussed and rules for 2020 were drafted. The calendar for 2020 will be as it was agreed at the Vintage Commission in autumn meeting at Fiumicino: - 20.06.2020. – Julbach, Austria - 12.07.2020. – Munster, France - 01.08.2020. – Lückendorf, Germany There is a possibility for additional date in Switzerland if an agreement with organizer will be finished, but not later than 1st of December 2019. At all events the format of the race will be that at Saturday and Sunday it will be one practise and two heats of which better result will count for championship points. Tough race for both riders and spectators due to the heavy rain, with wet and muddy conditions. At the end of a hard fight battle for the titles, here below the champions of the season. Vintage Endurance Cup: grand finale in Italy Pictures copyright: Mandy Peers Jones The last race of the Vintage Endurance Cup was organised at Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli from 11th to 13th October. The race was part of the Misano Classic Weekend: an important event with over 500 riders. The extraordinary challenges and the good weather let over 6000 spectators to enjoy the weekend. The race of the Vintage Endurance Cup was raced together with the Italian Endurance Championship, with an amazing grid with 47 team. The race finished after 4 hours of race and the gap between the first (TAURUS SAGES, Italy) and second (PHASE ONE ENDURANCE, UK) was only 21,5 sec. Race results: CLASSIC 1. Team MOTOBEL 2. Vintage Road Racing European Championship: the final in France Photos: Bruno Feseuille The last round of the Vintage Road Racing European Championship was raced on 28th-29th September at Pau-Arnos Circuit, in France, with very good conditions. Riders from all over Europe took the start, including a woman from Germany, Tanja Hentschel. Race1 was well disputed with the first 3 riders very close most of the time. In the end Laurent Villeregnier took the checkered flag as first followed by Richard Peers Jones and Hasse Gustafson. In Race2 another victory for Villeregnier, followed by Hasse and Allender Paul.

Vintage Regularity Cup: the final in Slovakia In the beautiful town of Holič, Slovakia, on 28th September was held the second and last race of the Vintage Regularity Cup. Even if the weather was cloudy with rain the races were regular disputed. The race was excellently organised by Classic Club Hlohovec with the support of the town of Holič. Over 100 riders raced in front of 5000 spectators. Vintage Hill Climb European Championship: final round in Germany The last round of the Vintage Hill Climb European Championship was held on 3rd-4th August in Lückendorf, Germany with 102 riders and sidecars present (80 solo riders and 22 sidecars), divided into 3 solo classes and 3 sidecars classes. Day 1 Strong rain in the midle of the day caused the delay on the timetable and sessions were partially modified. First position in class 8a sidecars was Gundiger Roland/ Gundinger Maria, in class 8b was Huml Jiry /Huml Vojtech and in class 8c was Rösler Detlef/ Schmidt Luca. Day 2 With good weather all classes raced on time, both solo moto and sidecars. Thanks to an excellent organization and many collateral events, over 10.000 spectators join the events. Round winner: 8a – Roland Gundinger / Maria Gundinger 8b – Warner Kohle / Manuel Stadler 8c – Peter Gierlinger / Helga Gierlinger

Vintage Road Racing European Championship: the race in Donington Park Photographs courtesy www.pjm-photography.co.uk Riders of the Vintage Road Race European Championship gathered at the former Grand Prix circuit Anderstorp for the opening round of the 2019 Championship. Practice and qualifying went without any major problems for the FIME riders who all qualified. On Saturday the weather was perfect for racing with temperatures in the 20’s and a dry track until the last race when a heavy shower brought out the red flags and an early finish to the days racing. Sunday’s racing resumed with a dry track and the schedule was completed without further interruption. With a strong Classic Racing base in the UK Great Britain riders dominated the results apart from classes 6 and 7a where Hasse Gustafson ruled the roost for Sweden and took four wins on his Ducati machines. The weather was perfect all weekend for racing with temperatures in the 20’s and a dry track. Practice and qualifying went without any major problems for the FIME riders who all qualified. In Saturday’s races Lars Sanberg made it a double success when he took wins in both class 5 and 6. Other class winners were Tanya Hentschel (Class 2), Hans Pallesen (Class 3) Paul Allender (Class 7a) and Richard Peers-Jones (Class 7b), but in the new class 9b all four riders had problems and did not start. Vintage Enduro European Championship: the second round in France The second round of the Vintage Enduro European Championship took place on Saturday 1st June in Le Mayet de la Montagne, France. The second round of the Vintage Enduro European Championship took place on Saturday 1st June in Le Mayet de la Montagne, France. About 50 riders come to join this vintage race organised by the motorcycle club Team Saint Yorre Motos, led by President Robert Jourdan. The race began on Friday with the acceleration test, ruled by Gianpaolo Bergamaschi in front of Donato Benetti, both with BMW.. On Saturday the race was articulated with three laps and two special test: one fast enduro test and one cross test like and World one. The winner of the race: Class A3  - Sala Paolo MAria ITA (Zundapp) Class A4 - Barsotti Alberto   ITA (Husqvarna) Class C2 - Caselli Luciano ITA (Husqvarna) Class C3 - Arenas Xavier  SPA (Montesa)
