Honda 150 European Championship Ready for Lommel (Belgium)

 The Honda 150 European Championship riders have enjoyed a mid-season training camp at Honda Park, Belgium, ahead of racing in the deep sand at Lommel this weekend. After the six-week break, the CRF150R riders were keen to get back in the saddle and reacclimatise themselves with their bikes. A day of free-riding sessions and tuition from series coach Gordon Crockard has helped to prepare the riders for the challenge that Lommel presents.The 11-14 year olds were joined by Honda Jtech (Nick Kouwenberg, Henry Jacobi, Nicolas Adams & Giuseppe Tropepe), who were testing at the Olmen track, and 24MX riders Ken de Dycker and Damon Graulus. The Honda Racing Family were eager to show their support of the young riders with de Dycker and Graulus keen to learn more about the championship from the current red plate holder Emil Weckman. Henry Jacobi also joined Crockard in giving the riders some tuition

European Motoball at Budel – The challenge goes on

 Photos @Sebastian Schmiedel On July 26th, day 2 of European Motoball, Russia took an easy win against Lithuania by 11-0. France team made a great comeback from 3-1 and drew with Belarus with the final result 4-4. The title defenders of the European Motoball Championship, that is the German team, lost against their toughest opponents and one of this year's tournament favorites: Russia, with the result of 6-3.After three games the opening ceremony begun and all national teams were greeted by the major of the hosting city, by the sport director of KMNV and by head of organisation of this year's European Motoball Championship.In the final game of the day, tournament hosts, the Netherlands team, collected a 10-3 win against guests from Ukraine. European Motoball at Budel, The Netherlands. Ready for the start

 Yesterday all participating Teams (7) arrived in the Netherlands and the organizators were happy to welcome back the Team of Ukraine after their absence last year. The technical inspection of the Motorcycles was performed by the KMNV while the Envinronmental Officer inspected the Stadium. The Motoball Commission informed the Teams about the latest news from the FIM Europe Congress during the Jury Meeting. A Referee seminar was held and the Referees where instructed before the Tournament. Today the Games started at 12.30 with the match between Russia and Lithuania. The second match between France and Belarus started at 14:30. The third match of the day is scheduled at 16:30 with the finalists of 2015, Russia and Germany. This match is followed by the opening ceremony and the last match of the day (20:00) between the hosting team from the Netherlands playing against Ukraine.

European Sidecar at Vries (The Netherlands)

The 2016 European Sidecar Final was certainly a very competitive race meeting with the event being staged on a very hot and sunny day at Vries in the North of Holland.The over 2000 spectators witnessed some very exciting racing with riders not giving a centimetre during the twelve point scoring qualifying heats. Once all the points were totalled, the remaining field of twelve riders were allocated to the two (B and A) Finals.With the winner and the 2nd placed riders from the B Final being seeded direct into the A Final, racing was again extremely competitive with the English team of Shaun Harvey and Danny Hogg just beating defending European Champion 22 year old Josh Goodwin and Liam Brown for the two places in the main A Final. Here they now lined up against Dutch team William Matthijssen and Sandra Mollema (who had been unbeaten all day) + German crews

European Enduro at Ogre (Latvia) – Preview

Photo @Robert Pairan   After a vigorous start in March and shortly later the second round in France, the  Enduro European-Championship (EEC) lived a long pause before the third round, which is scheduled on 30th and 31st July 2016  at Ogre, in Latvia. A European Enduro round was held in the same venue in 2012 for the first time, with a very well organized race. This time a 62 km long stage has been prepared, which will be faced for three times by the riders. Two enduro-tests and one modern extreme-test are on schedule, too, which will offer a lot of action.There are expected more than 150 riders from 18 Countries, fighting in 8 different classes and, of course, for the overall.The second half of the season has to show whether the young riders, Brad Freeman (in the photo) from England and Nicolas Pellegrinelli from Italy can beat the former

It’s nothing short of awesome and with the European Championship EMX65 and EMX85 finals taking place at the MXGP of Czech Republic, in Loket, today, the world has been gifted a sneak peek at the future of motocross.   Following in the footsteps of MX2’s vice world champion Pauls Jonass; another young Latvian has burst on the scene in the tiny form of Edvards Bidzans. Bidzans was pinned on his KTM65 today. FIM Europe Road Safety Conference at Kavala (Greece)

 The 22nd FIM Europe Congress in Kavala (Greece) hosted the 10th edition of Road Safety Conference, which traditionally deals with the most important and updated topics of the matter. In the latest years, the Road Safety Conference dealt with road accidents, industry responses and initiatives, the systems to improve Road Safety, traumatic injuries and first aid, 2 wheeler behaviour and safety, roadside barriers and crash tests, and devices derived from track, such as airbag for motorcyclists. Last year, the Road Safety Conference dealt with themes related with the development of electronics to increase usability and safety both on track and on road. The European Supermoto Championship Calendar has been updated: the race of S3, SM Junior and Open scheduled on 23 and 24 July in Crevedia (Romania) has been cancelled and it will not be replaced. The next events will be on 3/4 September at Elektrenai (Lithuania) - except for the Junior Class - and on 29/30 October at Pleven (Bulgaria).
