Hill Climb and Vintage Hill Climb European Championship: action in Italy Second round of the Hill Climb and first one for the Vintage Hill Climb European Championship in Italy, in the mountains of Pogio-Vallefredda. Road Race Hill Climb European Championship: Italy hosted the first round First seasonal round for the Road Race Hill Climb European Championship in Passo dello Spino, Italy. The event has been raced at closed doors due to the Covid-19 restrictions, following the regulations imposed by the Italian Government. Prospino Team and the new promotor Motoclub Spoleto did an excellent job together with the marshal despite the cold weather and heavy rain of Sunday. Hill Climb European Championship: double round in Italy Double round for the Hill Climb European Championship in Italy, with the races in Pieve S. Stefano-Passo allo Spino. Although the Covid-19 situation, a large number of participants took part to the events, with 21 riders participating at the series. The races were gratefully organised by Pro-Spino Team in a familiar mood: if on Saturday the weather was good, on Sunday the rain had a key role in the fights. Hill Climb European Championship: the first round in Italy Spoleto-Forca di Cerro, Italy, was the first round of the 2020 Hill Climb European Championship, raced with high temperatures and strong heat. Day 1 In 250GP class Loris Guerrini won Race 1 ahead of actual Champion Guido Testoni for just 0,22 seconds, while in Race 2 Guido finished first and Loris second. At the end of the day overall victory for Testoni. In SSP600 class double win for Maurizio Bottalico ahead of Daniele Stolli. Great show in the SuperMoto Open class with the battle between the Italian Alexander Ponzellini and the French Steven Bellavoine, finally second. In Superbike class Stefano Bonetti won ahead of Amalric Blanc, second, and Salvatore Sallustro, third. Day 2 In 250GP class Testoni won again ahead of Guerrini, both faster than day 1. Road Race Hill Climb European Championship: last round in France The last round of the Road Race Hill Climb European Championship took place on 17th-18th August in Marlhes, France. After a complicated free practice session because of a delay, Sunday’s races had no problems. In 250GP category the Italian Guido Testoni ruled both the two races, conquering the title with a clear supremacy. In the Supersport double victory for the French Savoyen Romain Cleaz, but one fifth and sixth position were enough to let the German Uwe Rademacher to get the title. Race2 Superbike class was won by Romain Cleaz-Savoyn, but with the victory in Race1 and a good advantage in the standing, Jean-Luc David got the title with his Kawasaki. In Supermoto category no way for Philippe Bongard: till the end he tried to won against Alexander Ponzellini, but the Italian scroed a double victory and conquered the tile.

Vintage Hill Climb European Championship: final round in Germany The last round of the Vintage Hill Climb European Championship was held on 3rd-4th August in Lückendorf, Germany with 102 riders and sidecars present (80 solo riders and 22 sidecars), divided into 3 solo classes and 3 sidecars classes. Day 1 Strong rain in the midle of the day caused the delay on the timetable and sessions were partially modified. First position in class 8a sidecars was Gundiger Roland/ Gundinger Maria, in class 8b was Huml Jiry /Huml Vojtech and in class 8c was Rösler Detlef/ Schmidt Luca. Day 2 With good weather all classes raced on time, both solo moto and sidecars. Thanks to an excellent organization and many collateral events, over 10.000 spectators join the events. Road Race Hill Climb European Championship: the fifth round in Italy sdr_HDRB On 03rd-04th August was raced in Gragnana, Italy, the fifth round of the Road Race Hill Climb European Championship. Nice weather and summer temperatures welcomed riders and team, who on Saturday’s raced the free practices in 2 km long hill climb track. There were 165 entries in different categories, 28 for the European Championship. Road Race Hill Climb European Championship: fourth round The fourth round of the Road Race Hill Climb European Championship was raced this weekend in Boécourt-La Caquerelle, Switzerland. Because of the bad weather the event must be stopped for 2 hours on Saturday, while on Sunday the schedule had no delay. Road Racing Hill Climb European Championship and Vintage Hill Climb European Championship: the race in Austria The second round of the Road Racing Hill Climb European Championship was race in Julbach, Austria, on 15th-16th June in very good weather conditions. The first and the second practice was on Saturday afternoon, while the third one was on Sunday morning. In 250 class Guido Testoni from Italy won both the races. Double victory too for Rafael Neuner in Supersport class. The first heat of Superbike class was dominated by French rider Jean Luc David, who in race 2 recorded the new track record (1’05’’343) receiving a special price from the organizer. In Supermoto open class double win for the Austrian Josef Frauenschuh. Vintage Championship: Gundinger/Gundinger won 8a category, Neubauer/Stobich won 8b category, Greil/Greil won 8c category.  

Road Race Hill Climb and Vintage Sidecar Hill Climb European Championship: to the track at Landshaag, Austria dav The 40th edition of the Hill Climb Event in Landshaag, Austria, was the first round of the Road Race Hill Climb European Championship. Despite uncertain weather conditions and low temperatures, about 12.000 spectators and 55 riders came to join the race. In the practices the fastest riders were Guido Testoni (FMI) in 250, Daniel Kronschläger (AMF) in Supersport, Stefano Bonetti (FMI) in Superbike and Josef Frauenschuh (AMF) in Supermoto. On Sunday there were Race 1 and Race 2 on dry conditions. The winners of the round are: Guido Testoni in 250, Rafael Neuner in Supersport, Andrea Gangl in Superbike and Josef Frauenschuh in Supermoto.
