European U21 Individual Speedway Championship at Stralsund (Germany)

The 2018 Under 21 Final brought together European brightest young speedway talents. 9 nations were represented in a strong, competitive field of riders. A pleasant late Summer day gave the organisers no problems with the track preparation, a small rain shower in the early evening and later in the meeting only helped track preparation. A good racing surface was provided for the competitors, and a healthy crowd watched some spectacular entertainment. Local interest was maintained by sole German representative Lukas Fienhage. Lukas put in some strong challenges and delighted the home crowd with a race win in heat 7. Danish rider Patrick Hansen was subject to a heavy fall in heat 10. He was transferred to hospital. Enduro European Championship at Kielce (Poland)

DAY 1 - Kawasaki rider Alessandro Battig (photo1) from Italy won the title in his class on the first day of the European Enduro Championship final in Kielce, Poland. With a further day victory in the class of the four-stroke machines over 250 cc, he was able to extend his lead up to the mathematical certainty of the title. In the remaining two days of competition he would concentrate on winning the title in the overall standings in addition. There, too, the Italian is in the lead of the European Championship and with his second place in the overall standings on Friday, he has come a little closer to this goal. Although he was beaten by his compatriot, junior Lorenzo Macoritto, he was able to leave behind his direct rivals in the championship, such as the Frenchman Hugo Blanjoue who only finished third. FIM Europe Management Council at Chorzów (Poland)

Today the 2nd Management Council of the new mandate has taken place at the Hotel Diament at Chorzów, Poland, thanks to the perfect organisation granted by the Polish Federation (PZM). Enduro European Championship at Kielce (Poland) – Preview

The final of the European Enduro Championship will take place at Kielce, in Poland from 14th to 16th of September. It will be a 3-days event, with 2 days of classic enduro and 1 day of final-motocross. The first two days will be on a 50 km long circuit, which has to be ridden four times and includes a motocross test and an enduro test every lap. The motocross on the last day takes place about 25 kms away from the Parc Fermé. In Kielce enduro events were organised for many years and the European Championship 2011 was last hosted by the city in South-Eastern Poland. It is also the home-track for the KTM Novi Corona Kielce team. The Parc Fermé is located on the Southern outskirts of the city, near the athletics stadium and the sports hall (Leszka Drogosza 1, 25-093 Kielce). More than 150 riders submitted their entries

The 2018 Motocross of European Nations is complete from the Gdansk circuit of Poland. Taking the win in impressive fashion is Team Italy in both the men’s and women’s racing! A handful of races took place on the Polish soil today starting with Race 1 of the Women’s Motocross of European Nations and ending with the second race of 250 and 125 group with 4 others in between. The action filled day was also full sunshine, bar banging battles, and intense racing. Sestriere hosted the final races of the 2018 Supermoto European Championship. Thanks also to sunny weather conditions arrived early at race track to find a perfect spot in the hills with its spectacular views over the races. In the S1 class the overall victory went to Phoenix Racing rider Markus Class, while TM Factory rider Thomas Chareyre gained the 2018 title in the Supermoto European Championship. The victory in the S1 Lites class went to Gazza Racing rider Emerick Bunod while the title was taken by Phoenix Racing rider Elia Sammartin from Italy. Santa Pod Racers Club along with Santa Pod managed, as usual, to organize a European Championship final in a brilliant way. Despite the bad weather conditions, the race could be done, ahead around 25-30.000 spectators. First ever winner in Junior Dragbike FIM European Cup was a girl racing for England but living in the Netherlands: Maggie Talbot (photo1). The last race of the 2018 Supermoto European Championship started today at Sestriere, in the region of Piemonte, in the heart of the Italian Alps. In the centre of the town a temporary race track was especially build for this event. The race track in the mountains has some fast straights and corners combined with very tight chicanes and fast off-road sections. Due to the fantastic scenery and the good and sunny weather conditions, lots of spectators found their way to Sestriere. Today the free practices and time practice were held in Italy. Phoenix Racing rider Markus Class took the pole position in Italy. With a lot of riders close to each other the races of tomorrow will be full of action.
