European Supermono Cup at Oschersleben (Germany)

The last round of FIM Europe Supermono Cup was held at Oschersleben. Josef Frauenschuh arrived as the leader of the general standings and he confirmed his good state of form in qualifying practices, even if the pole position went to Jerry van den Bunt, who however was absent in Grobnik and lost many points in the general classification.
The first race started on wet/dry (mixed) track surface but many riders opted for wet tyres. After the race all wet tyres were almost destroyed but there were no serious crashes. After very emotional fight the winner was Jerry van den Bunt. In this race he showed that the classification of the European Supermono Cup 2018 was still open. Josef Frauenschuh was 5th and lost many points: his advantage on the second – Jurgen Pirstner – was now only 24 points.

In race 2 Jerry van de Bunt was the leader from the first to the last lap. Behind him there was an interesting fight among Pristner, Frauenschuh and Karl. Till the last corner it was impossible to predict who would finish first. At the end the winner was van de Bunt, ahead of Pristner, Frauenschuh and Karl. Race3 started with the title still to be assigned. Race 3 was very similar to the second – Van den Bunt was in front and behind him there was a big fight. With the second position Josef Frauenshuh won the European Cup. Third position for Jürgen Pirstner ahead of Johann Karl.
In the European Cup, Josef Frauenschuh is the winner ahead of Jürgen Pirstner and Jerry Van den Bunt.
