The 2019 MACEC General Assembly  in Prague/CZE

The General Assembly of MACEC (Motorcycle Association of Central European Countries) was held on 23rd February in Prague. The following member Federations were present: ACCR (Czech Republic), BFMS (Belarus), LMSF (Lithuania), FMU (Ukraine), FRM (Romania), PZM (Poland) and SMF (Slovakia).
MACEC President Andrzej Grodzki opened that meeting, welcomed all participants  – among them FIM Europe acting President Martin de Graaff, FIM Board Member/ACCR President  Jan Stovicek, FIM Europe Honorary Vice President Andrzej Witkowski. He thanked the ACCR – the Federation which joint MACEC in 2018 –  for organization of the event. ACCR President Jan Stovicek welcomed everybody, expressed his satisfaction to host the MACEC General Assembly in Prague and wished everybody a fruitful meeting and a nice stay in the capital of Czech Republic.
MACEC is one of the six Regional Associations in FIM Europe; the others are AAMU (Alpe-Adria Motorcycle Union), AAM (Association Méditerranéenne de Motocyclisme), BMA (Baltic Motorcyclists Association), BMU (Balkan Motorcycle Union) and NMC (Nordic Motorsport Council). FIM Europe comprises 46 National Federations
During the meeting the results of the 2018 MACEC Cup in the disciplines Speedway – individual and team, Motocross – individual (65cc, 85cc, MX2, MX1) and team and Trial (Group A, Group B) were evaluated and approved, as well as the calendar and the regulations for 2019. Comprehensive information was given by the various delegates about the activities.
FIM Europe acting President Martin de Graaff gave an update on the current situation on  FIM Europe and invited everybody to the 2019 FIM Europe Congress from 3 to 7 July in Zagreb (Croatia). FIM Board Member Jan Stovicek informed about the situation in FIM and encouraged to participate in the 2019 FIM General Assembly and Gala from 30th November to 1st December in Monte Carlo (Monaco)

 

After 4 year term of office the MACEC elections were held.  The MACEC General Assembly elected MACEC President, Vice Presidents and Secretary General. Andrzej Grodzki was reelected as  the MACEC President and the Vice Presidents became: Peter Moravec (ACCR), Aleksander Lyatosinsky (FMU), Jakub Zliechovec (SMF). It was decided that MACEC Executive Secretariat would be domiciled in Warsaw (at PZM) and the General Secretary would be Aleksandra Knyszewska.
As a conclusion acting President FIM Europe, Martin de Graaff  thanked first of all the ACCR and president Jan Stovicek for the excellent organization and hospitality.  – It was a very pleasant General Assembly in the beautiful city of Prague . The MACEC Association was represented by many delegates, they showed their activities and plans for this season. The Federations are very active in all kind of events. The calendar was prepared by the board of MACEC and finalized during the meeting.  – concluded Martin de Graaff.
