The second round of the Superstock 600cc. European Championship was held today in Assen (The Netherlands)
Again it was a very fantastic and exciting race. With all standard bikes in this class, there is no speed difference and riders must show a good riders technique.
The first four riders Michael Van der Mark (Honda), Nacho Calero Perez (Yamaha), Gauthier Duwels (Yamaha) and Stephane. Egea (Yamaha) made quickly a gap, but stayed very close together until the finish. Changing positions many times. In the last lap they where side by side on the long straight with final victory of Van der Mark. Also after this group, another group of four riders competed together.
The provisional rankings see the leadership of Michael Van der Mark with 41 points.
Next round is scheduled on the 5th of May in Monza (Italy).
