Zaragoza to host the 2023 edition

In just one week the annual FIM Europe Congress will be hosted for the first time in Spain. The city of Zaragoza will see the 2023 edition to take place as perfect location to stage this esteemed gathering, as the Real Federación Motociclista Española was founded in the city 100 years ago.

All is set. After last year exciting returning in Bucharest, from Thursday 29th June to Saturday 1st July the FIM Europe family will be reunited in Zaragoza, Spain, for the 27th edition of the FIM Europe Congress. An important moment for all the officials to meet and discuss about the current year and next season.

In the year of its 100th anniversary the Real Federación Motociclista Española will be happy to welcome all the European Federations that enthusiastically responded to the participation for a weekend that promises to be stirring.

For the first time Spain will organize a FIM Europe Congress and Zaragoza is the perfect venue to host the event, as the RFME was founded exactly in this city in 1923.

The city is the capital of the autonomous community of Aragon and it lies by the Ebro river. The city is famous for its folklore, local cuisine, and landmarks such as the Basílica del Pilar, La Seo Cathedral and the Aljafería Palace. Together with La Seo and the Aljafería, several other buildings form part of the Mudéjar Architecture of Aragon which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The Congress will take place inside the Hotel Hiberus and the program will start on Thursday with the Sporting and Beyond Sporting Council.

On Friday the Management Council and the Sporting and Beyond Sporting Commissions and Panels will meet in the morning and in the afternoon. Afterwards there will be the meeting of the General Secretaries.

On Saturday, the last day, the last Management Council will take place in the morning, while in the afternoon will be held the General Assembly.

At night, the gala dinner will celebrate the first year of the 2022/2026 mandate.
