The new Hill Climb Road Racing European Championship completed its second round this weekend at Imperia (Italy) with 42 riders enrolled for the European Championship. The twisty track between Carpasio and Prati Piani welcomed all riders with beautiful sunshine. But unfortunately both practice and race were accompanied by fog and mist.
Finally the second heat of the race had to be canceled because of this reason.
The winners of the different categories were the following:
- Moto3/125GP: Giovanni Ronzoni (ITA, Honda)
- 250cc Open: Pierre Favre (FRA, Yamaha)
- Sidecar: Oliver Dichamp/Vincent Peugeot (FRA, LCR)
- Superbike: Jean Noel Salvi (FRA, Honda)
- Supermoto Open: Luca Gottardi (ITA, Aprilia)
- Supersport: Stefano Manici (ITA, Triumph)
- Superstock 600: Francesco Curinga (ITA, FMI)
- Superstock 1000: Christophe Balmer (SUI, BMW)
Next round is scheduled in Chatel St Denis (Switzerland) on the 29-30th of June.
