Grigorij Laguta won the third Final of Speedway Euro Championship, which was held at Togliatti, in Russia, in front of 9.800 spectators.
Sixteen riders and two reserves took part to the event, which saw Russian Grigorij Laguta winning in front of Swedish Antonio Lindbaeck and of Danish Leon Madsen. Hans Andersen ended the final just behind the rostrum.
The new leader of Speedway Euro Championship is Antonio Lindbaeck. The situation in general standings is still very close: Anders Thomsen, in 13th position, is just seven points behind the rostrum. The final round at Rybnik (Poland) on September 17th will be extremely interesting.
