The FIM General Assembly gathered in Jerez (Spain) voted on the re-election of President Vito Ippolito with 62 votes against the 41 obtained from the other candidate Jorge Viegas.
On the same occasion were also elected three members of the FIM Board of Directors, Jacques Bolle (FRA), Nasser Khalifa Al Attiyah (QAT) and Andrzej Witkowski (POL).
At the end of the General Assembly, congratulating the newly elected President Vito Ippolito, FIM Europe President stated:
“Congratulations on behalf of FIM Europe. Vito Ippolito has a long term experience in the sport in various positions and has served already since 2006 as FIM President. We are looking forward to an excellent cooperation with the European Federations and wish him all the very best. Congratulations also to the new members of the Board of Directors!”
