FIM Europe at FIM Gala in Jerez (Spain)

IMG 0109 okThe 2015 FIM Gala, held on 22nd November in Jerez de la Frontera (SPA) concluded the four-day meeting of the FIM who have seen the performance of the FIM Women +  Sustainability Conference on 19th and 20th and the General Assembly on Saturday 21st.

Among the significant results for the FIM Europe we must note the election of the President of the FMB Mr Jos Driessen as FIM Board Member FMB (in the photo with the FIM Europe President Dr Wolfgang Srb) and the new affiliation to the FIM, and of consequence to the FIM Europe, of the Motorcycling Federation of Georgia – GNMF. The number of Members Federations of the FIM grows up to 113 and of those Members of the FIM Europe to 48.

The FIM Europe President Dr Wolfgang Srb stated: “All the various meetings – Board of Directors, Conference, General Assembly, Commission Directors and the Gala – were very well organized and the city of Jerez was a perfect host.
“FIM Europe can be satisfied with the results, as FMB President Jos Driessen was elected as Board Member and the Georgian Federation was unanimously accepted as a new member, both of FIM and FIM Europe.

“2015 was a year of a lot of activities for FIM Europe; not only in the areas of sport and non-sport, but also in the field of training and education. I am very happy that thanks to the passion, the strong commitment of thousands of volunteers and a harder work than ever the European Federations could achieve their objectives.
