Fatal crash for Berto Camlek at Hungaroring

Berto Camlek on trackYesterday at Hungaroring (Hungary), immediately after the start of Alpe Adria SBK race 2, there was an accident in the first turn. Slovenian rider Berto Camlek died after his crash.

Berto Camlek was born on 30th April 1970. He had started racing in the Eighties. He took part to 8 races in World Superbike Championship, 2 races in 2001, 4 races in 2004 and 2 races in 2006. From the beginning of his career he had been participating in Alpe Adria Road Racing championship, where he had won the title several times. He was known as a warm and nice guy, always ready to help.
FIM Europe, together with Alpe Adria Road Racing commission members, all staff from Slovakia Racing and all the people from the paddock express condolences to Camlek family and to all his relatives and friends.
