The fourth round of the European Supermono Championship was held this weekend at Oschersleben, in Germany, in front of around 20.000 people, in a sunny, sometimes cloudy, day, with a temperature of around 30°C.

Race 1 was interrupted at the 12th lap because of Jordy Walters’crash. The winner was Josef Frauenschuh from Austria in front of his compatriot Lukas Wimmer and of Arie Vos from The Netherlands. The poleman van de Bunt had problems in keeping the pace of the leader and at the finish line he was 6th.
In Race 2 Jerry van de Bunt had a difficult start but in a middle of the race he was already first and he managed to win in front of Frauenschuh and of Ezequiel Iturrioz from Argentina. Lukas Wimmer was only fifth after being a strong rival of the leader at the beginning of the race.
The “quiet winner” of this event was Josef Frauenschuh, who gained 45 points and now is third in the general standing, after van de Bunt and Wimmer. All the three riders have the chance to win the title, which will be assigned in the next and final round, at Hockenheim, on September 25th.
