In Moto2 European Championship, the two riders of Yellow Pages HP 40 Junior Team were the main protagonists of the day. Since the first session no one has been able to overshadow Edgar Pons (SPA-Kalex), who has taken advantage of the cool morning to mark his best lap, stopping the clock at 1 minute, 46 seconds and 163 thousandths. Same strategy seems to have followed his teammate, Luca Marini (ITA-Kalex), who set the second fastest time, six tenths behind the poleman. So Marini repeteated the second grid position, after Algarve. Xavi Vierge (SPA-Tech 3) was third fastest of the day. Behind him, Steven Odendaal (RSA-AGR Team), Tetsuta Nagashima (JPN-Kalex) and Alan Techer (FRA-Tech 3).
