The podium
The second round of European Open Motocross Championship was held in Zabok (Croatia).
In Saturday’s qualification race we saw a big battle for first places between Czech riders Petr Bartos and Jonas Nedved followed by Peter Irt from Slovenia and home rider Marko Leljak. At the end Petr Bartos won the Qualifying race in front of Jonas Nedved and Peter Irt.
In Race1 Peter Irt did the holeshot followed by Petr Bartos, Petr Michalec and Martin Michek. Michek managed to pass Michalec for third position and Bartos for the second. In the last five minutes Michek attacked also Irt, who at the end won, finishing 0,2s before of Michek and Bartos.
In Race2 Michek did the holeshot and lead till the end. Irt had a bad start but at the end he managed to finish second behind Michek and in front of Bartos.
The overall winner is Martin Michek, ahead of Peter Irt and Petr Bartos.
After two races Martin Michek leads the championship.
