EMX 65 and 85 South West Zone at Fernao Joanes (Portugal) – Day2

The track of Fernao Joanes (Portugal) hosted the third round of EMX 65 and 85 South West Zone.

In EMX85 class the first holeshot went to Spanish Raul Sanchez who was passed in first lap by his compatriot David Braceras. Because of technical problems David Braceras did not finish and Spanish rider Eddie Jay Wade took the leading position. It was a strong fight between Wade and Sanchez till the last lap but on the 3rd lap before the finish Raul Sanchez overtook Eddie Jay Wade and won 0.18 sec ahead of him. Third position for French rider Florian Miot 22,69 sec behind the leader.
Race2 was lead by Spanish Eddie Jay Wade till the finish. He won the second heat with 21,74 sec ahead David Braceras. Third place for Raul Sanchez, 31,05 sec from the winner Wade.
The overall winner of the event is Spanish Eddie Jay Wade, in front of his compatriot Raul Sanchez and of French Florian Miot.


Race1 in EMX 65 class was lead by French rider Mathis Valin up to 6th lap when Spanish Antonio Gallego overtook him and won 2,75 sec ahead of French Mathis Valin and 8,11 sec ahead of Francisco Garcia, from Spain, too.
Race2 was lead by Portuguese rider Sandro Lobo but in the second lap he was passed by Spanish Antonio Gallego who won the race 5,02 sec in front of his compatriot Francisco Garcia. Third place for French Mathis Malin 5,76 sec ahead of the leader, while Lobo finished in sixth position.
The overall winner of the event was Antonio Gallego in front of Francisco Garcia and Mathis Valin.
The next race will be held in Orehova Vas, Slovenia, on the 10th-11th June.
