Semi-Final of Team Speedway Junior EC in Divišov (Czech Republic)

The Semi-Final of the Team Speedway Under 21 European Championship was held yesterday in Divišov (Czech Republic). The Czech Republic team got the first position with the following riders Eduard KRČMÁŘ, Zdeněk HOLUB, Roman ČEJKA, Michal ŠKURLA, Václav MILÍK. Second position went to the Swedish team and third to the German team. The final of the European Championship will be held on the 6th of July in Opole (Poland). (UEM Press Release 77/2013)

Third round of the MAXXIS EMX Quad EC in Genk (Belgium)

The third round of the MAXXIS Quadcross European Championship was held this weekend in Genk (Horensbergdam) Belgium. The first heat was won by French Jeremie Warnia (DWT), followed by Dutch Joe Massen (Suzuki) and Mike van Grinsven (W-TEC), also from The Netherlands. In a very exciting second race, the Dutch Mike van Grindsven (W-TEC)was the best, in front of the two French riders Matthieu Ternunck (Yamaha) and Jeremie Warnia (DWT). Overall classification leader after six races is Jeremie Warnia with 145 points, second Mike van Grindsven with 116 points and third is Olli Koskela from Finland with 89 points. EMX65 and 85 NE Europe in Cieszyn (Poland)

Cieszyn Poland was today the Organizer of the third round in the European Championship EMX 85cc and EMX 65cc. N.E. Group. Due to a very hot and sunny Saturday, the qualifying heats were not run, but postponed to Sunday morning, in the warm up session. In the 85cc Class the rider Pavel Repcak (KTM) was fastest and he got the pole position, in the two races in the afternoon. In the 65cc class the rider Timur Petrashin (KTM) was fastest and got the pole position in the two races in the afternoon The results of the first race in the 85cc class see the fastest rider in Pavel Repcak (KTM) followed by Dominik Olszowy, and on the third place came Damian Kojs (KTM). Bugreev European 2013 European Champion of Open Motocross in Kovel (Ukraine)

The sixth round in the European Championship Open Class was held today in Kovel (Ukraine). The track was situated in the middle of few small lakes with sandy track. A good position for the 7 thousand attending the event,. The weather was warm and sunny, 28 degrees, on Sunday after Race 1 started heavy rain. In class Open in race 1, first place Toms Macuks (KTM) from Latvia, second place Alexander Bugreev (Yamaha) from Russia and third place Alexander Efimov (KTM) from Russia. Third round of the Supermoto EC in Sosnova (Czech Republic)

Track of Sosnova (Czech Republic) hosted round 3 of European Supermoto championship for class ES2, and for Young Trophy as well. 25 riders participate at the event and races were supported by many Czech motorsport fans. Race 1 has been red flagged in the second lap due to the accident; fortunately there were no serious injuries for the riders. In the repeated start Edgardo Borella (Yamaha) had the best start and was leading the first half of the race. Then he lost two positions in just one lap, and Malachi Mitchell-Thomas (TM) took the lead, with Asseri Kingelin (Honda) on the second place. First three positions remained the same to the finish of race 1. Mitchell-Thomas has been also winner of Youth trophy in race one, followed by Diego Monticelli (Honda) on second and Frederic Guerin (Suzuki) on third place. Supermoto European Championship in Vransko (Slovenia)

The European SuperMoto Championship SM Junior, S3 and OPEN went this weekend to Vransko, Slovenia, for the fourth consecutive year on the circuit Vrana. The third event of the series for the SM Junior class was marked by the big battle between the Bulgarian Hakan Halmi (KTM) and Austrian Maximilian Kofler (KTM). In the first race Maximilian won against Hakan with a difference of just 0,5 sec, leaving Ivelin Manev (KTM, Bulgaria) on the third place. The second race for the juniors was won by Halmi, following a mistake of Kofler in the offroad section, Manev being second. Finally the podium in the SM Junior class was composed by Hakan Halmi as the winner, Maximilian Kofler on the second place and Ivelin Manev third. In the Kids trophy 65cc, this time the winner was Dimitar Petrov from Bulgaria, followed by Andreas Kofler (Austria), both with KTMs, third finished Georgi Totev

The winner was French David Bellago in front of Czech Vaclav Milik and third position to German Valentin Grobauer. Second round of the MAXXIS EMX Quad EC in Varsseveld (The Netherlands)

The second round of the MAXXIS Quadcross European Championship was held this weekend in the Dutch track of Varsseveld. The French Jérémie Warnia (DWT) won both heats. In the first heat in front of Dutch Mike van Grinsven (W-TEC) and Belgian Jan Vlaeymans (W-TEC). In the second heat second position went to Vlaeymans and Latvian Edgars Mengelis (Yamaha). In the provisional rankings Warnia leads with 100 points in front of Mike van Grinsen with 71 points. The next round is scheduled next weekend the 22nd and 23rd of June in Genk (Belgium). Road Racing Hill Climbing in Imperia (Italy)

The new Hill Climb Road Racing European Championship completed its second round this weekend at Imperia (Italy) with 42 riders enrolled for the European Championship. The twisty track between Carpasio and Prati Piani welcomed all riders with beautiful sunshine. But unfortunately both practice and race were accompanied by fog and mist. Finally the second heat of the race had to be canceled because of this reason. The winners of the different categories were the following: Moto3/125GP: Giovanni Ronzoni (ITA, Honda) 250cc Open: Pierre Favre (FRA, Yamaha) Sidecar: Oliver Dichamp/Vincent Peugeot (FRA, LCR) Superbike: Jean Noel Salvi (FRA, Honda) Supermoto Open: Luca Gottardi (ITA, Aprilia) Supersport: Stefano Manici (ITA, Triumph) Superstock 600: Francesco Curinga (ITA, FMI) Superstock 1000: Christophe Balmer (SUI, BMW) Next round is scheduled in Chatel St Denis (Switzerland) on the 29-30th of June.
