EMX125 European Championship: solid Mancini gets his second overall win The 4th Round of the EMX125 European Championship in Lugo, Galicia showed all the intensity of European rounds. The races throughout the Saturday and Sunday were really competitive and displayed many twists in a thrilling racing weekend. It was Fantic Factory Racing EMX125’s Simone Mancini who proved to be the best in Lugo with a 2-2 to win his second overall of the season as he showed a lot of composure and consistency! The first race of the EMX125 European Championship began with a chaotic start, as multiple riders collided in the first turn, setting the stage for an action-packed event. Dex Kooiker from De Baets Yamaha MX-Team seized the early lead, closely pursued by Salvador Perez of RFME GASGAS MXJunior Team. Individual Speedway Championship: Janowski won in the SEC Challenge After 4 Qualifying rounds, the Individual Speedway Championship raced the ECC in Daugavpils, Latvia. The level of racing had been high, this was already visible in the training sessions with close racing between the riders, ready to fight and qualify for the final series. In the first heats, the crucial factor was the start from the gate. Dimitri Berge showed a very good reaction in the first heat of the day, confidently securing a win. In the third heat, spectators witnessed an interesting battle between Thorssell and Cierniak throughout the distance, with the Swede ultimately emerging victorious. In his second start, Anders Thomsen fired up. The acclaimed Dane showcased a phenomenal attack on Timo Lahti and celebrated a victory. Also notable was Piotr Pawlicki's performance in his second race. In heat 7, the Pole defeated the previously unbeaten Janowski and Thorssell.

Northern Talent Cup: round 2 at Sachsenring The Northern Talent Cup headed to the iconic Sachsenring Circuit in Germany for Round 2 of the 2024 season, promising another weekend of exhilarating racing action. Race 1 Jurrien Van Crugten (BB64 Academy) took his first victory in the Northern Talent Cup in a masterful display at the Sachsening, finishing ahead of rivals Tom Rolin (Junior Black Knights) and Antoine Nativi (Racing Nativi Team). Race 1 took place in warm and dry conditions with the riders on slicks. Ben Wiegner (JB-Racing) got a poor start from pole and dropped to sixth, but it was Assen Race 2 winner Tobias Kitzbichler (Racing Team Kitzbichler) who took the holeshot from second on the grid. By the end of the first lap, a lead group of four had formed, led by Dustin Schneider (Mass Sports Racing by JRP Academy) ahead of Kitzbichler, Van Crugten, and Alessandro Binder (Kiefer Racing). The last time that the Polish city had an European race was in 2011: after almost 15 years, more than 100 riders faced two hot days with thrilling fights. EMX125 European Championship and EMX 250 European Championship: first win of the season for Valk and Doensen in rainy Portugal The EMX125 European Championship and EMX 250 European Championship races at Agueda, Portugal, happened in very tough conditions for the young riders who had to focus hard and showed great skills to stay on the bike with ruts deepening as the races went on. This Portuguese test gave the opportunity to riders to show their resilience and skills to stay unscathed throughout the weekend. At this game it was the perfect weekend of Gabriel SS24 KTM’s Cas Valk who showed great speed and control to go 1-1 while in EMX125, it was a celebrated first career win for Gyan Doensen from Racestore KTM Factory Rookies Team. Individual Speedway Championship: QR3 and QR4 The 2024 season of the SEC, the Individual Speedway Championship, gets into the heart with another double challenge. After last week QR1 in Hungary and QR2 in Austria, this time was the turn of QR3 and QR4, the final two qualifying rounds for the SEC Challenge. The third qualifying round was held in Stralsund, Germany. Polish riders Maciej Janowski and Przemyslaw Pawlicki, and Danish rider and Rasmus Jensen set the pace from the beginning, securing their promotion to the SEC Challenge. Each scored 14 points in five starts, necessitating an extra race to determine the final order. In this race, “Magic” Janowski emerged victorious, with Pawlicki finishing second and Jensen third.
