Stefan Mueller, world champion of Sidecarcross in 1980, died today in Hertingen (Germany) during the practice session of the European Sidecar Final
Stefan Mueller died today in an accident during the practice session of the European Sidecar Championship in Hertingen (Germany).
“Karl Keil and his passenger Stefan Mueller were in the second lap of practice, when Mueller fall on the track and he was hit by a French team, which was following”, said Imanuel Schramm, who was riding behind the two sidecars.
The helicopter arrived quickly but there was no chance for Mueller, who died on the track.
Stefan Mueller was 55.
The organizers have cancelled the event.
