Vintage Enduro European Championship:
third round in Italy

The third round of the Vintage Enduro European Championship took place in Lovere, on Iseo Lake, Italy, under the direction of the Moto Club Costa Volpino. The race took place in the best of conditions, thanks to the weather that offered a hot breezy day.

Classic over 250 – David Gomez Carrion, SPA (Montesa)
Open up to 80 – Mauro Varaschin, ITA (Fantic)
Open up to 125 – Martin Novella, GER (Suzuki)
Open up to 250 – Stephane Peterhansel, FRA (Yamaha)
Open over 250 – Peter Zink, GER (Kramer)

The final prize-giving ceremony was an opportunity to thank the many participants.
FIM Europe delegate Francesco Mazzoleni and Track inspector Stefano Passeri emphasised the importance of the collaboration between the local authorities and the organisers as a fundamental condition for the success of these races.
