FIM Europe Supermoto European Championship in Tabasalu (Estonia)

fim europeThe sixth event of the FIM Europe Supermoto European Championship Class SM2 has been disputed on the track of Tabasalu (Estonia). The circuit and its facilities are excellent, a partly sunny day has welcomed all the participants.

In the first heat the Finnish rider Toni KLEM (KTM), started form the first place after getting the pole position in the day of Saturday, was able to achieve the hole shot and to lead the race from the start to the chequered flag. In second position finished the Czech rider Milan SITNIANSKY ( TM) after a big duel solved in his favour four laps before the end with the Italian rider Fabrizio BARTOLINI (Honda) who finished third. The red plate holder Asseri KINGELIN (Aprilia) closed the heat in fifth position.

The second heat showed the same scenario of the first for the Finnish rider Toni KLEM (KTM) who leaded the race form the start to the finish. In second position ended the Finnish red plate Asseri KINGELIN (Aprilia) who made a nice comeback from the fifth position of the first lap, the Italian rider Fabrizio BARTOLINI (Honda) has completed the podium finishing third. The overall classification of the Estonian GP registered the victory of Toni KLEM (1-1) in front of Fabrizio BARTOLINI (3-3) and Asseri Kingelin (5-2).

The provisional classification of the championship is leaded by Asseri KINGELIN (243 pt.) in front of Fabrizio BARTOLINI (230 pt.) and Toni KLEM (229 pt.).

The next and last event will take place in Jesolo (Italy) on 13-14 of September 2014.
