European U21 Individual Speedway Championship at Plzen (Czech Republic)

The European U21 Individual Speedway Championship Semi-Final was held at Plzen, in Czech Republic, in very cloudy, windy weather, in front of around 500 spectators.

The meeting was good, thanks to the professional job of the organising club, with interesting heats, except the heat 17 where Russian rider Gleb Chuganov spun and crashed while leading the race. As a result he broke his right ankle.
The victory of Dan Bewley was impressive – he won the meeting with the maximum score (15 points). Second position for Dominik Kubera ahead of Viktor Trofymov, both from Poland.
A run off was necessary for the 6th place, which was won by Russian Arsian Fayzulin, which will allow him to participate as reserve to the European Under 21 Individual Speedway Championship Final the next 15th September in Stralsund (Gerrmany).
