Women’s European SS 300 Cup: round 2 in Spain

Round 2 for the Women’s European SS 300 Cup at Ricardo Tormo in Valencia, Spain.
Despite the good weather conditions, a strong wind characterized all the sessions.
As in the opening round at Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli in Italy, Beatriz Neila Santos replicated the pole position confirming his determination at home circuit.
In race 1 the Spanish rider immediately took the leadership, keeping the first position until the chequered flag. Behind her, with 7 second gap, her compatriot Sara Sanchez, who succeed to get the podium despite a small injury to the leg. After the great debut at Misano, Jessica Howden from South Africa finished third confirming the great skills of her “pink” team. The rookie Josephin Bruno finished fourth close to the podium by only 4cents of a second.
In race 2 amazing fight for Spanish duo Neila Santos Beatriz e Sara Sanchez till two laps to go, when race 1 winner cleared the gap with 2 seconds ahead of Sara Sanchez and Jospehine Bruno, at her first podium. Unfortunately, an infraction of technical rules related to the disqualification of Neila with a new final classification with Roberta Ponziani in third position.
