Supercross European Championship round in Genova

aboutuemA very large and enthusiastic audience has marked the third round of 2012 UEM European Championship Supercross in Genova.

The class SXRookie was won by the French rider Clement BRIATTE (Yamaha) followed by the compatriot Calvin FONVIEILLE (KTM) and the Russian rider Vladislav LEONOV (Suzuki), after the second round the provisional classification is leading by BRIATTE (33pts), 9 points more of the second one the French SALINGUE.

The class SX125 was characterized by a big battle between the winner, the French rider Alexis VERHAEGHE (Kawasaki), the second the French rider Dan HOUZET (KTM) and the third the Italian Tommaso DE PIETRI (Suzuki) that arrived under the finish line with a gap of just three seconds. HOUZET leads the provisional classification (52 pts) in front of VERHAEGHE (49 pts).

The Class SX2 was dominated by the French rider Valentin TEILLET (Kawasaki) who won with a large gap on the second the French Romain BERTHOME (Kawasaki), the podium was completed from the Italian Samuele BERNARDINI (KTM). After the third round TEILLET leads with full score (60 pts) in front of BERNARDINI (36 pts).

The class SX1 was marked by a wonderful fight between the American riders Justin BRAYTON (Yamaha) (2-1) who won the race with the same points of the compatriot Eli TOMAC (Honda) (1-2) but with the advantage of the discriminating of the best result in the second heat. The French rider Gautier PAULIN (Kawasaki) (4-3) completed the podium. The French SOUBEYRAS (95 pts) holds the red plate, second in the provisional classification is IZOIRD (62 pts).

Next event is scheduled to take place in Milano (Italy) on 17 of November 2012.
