New age limit in the Trial InternationaI Class

aboutuemThe UEM Trial Commission decided, during the UEM Congress in Belgrade, to lower the age limit from 18 to 16 years of age for participating in the International Class during a Trial European Championship event.

As there is no overall classification for the International Class, the commission set the application date for this change to August 1st 2012 to make it possible for 16 and 17 year old riders to benefit from this change for the remaining four European Championship events.

The correct wording of the § TL 01.1 – GENERAL, 7th sub-section, will now be: “An International Class shall be included in each event for riders of at least 16 years of age who compete on the same Section route as the over 40 Cup”.

An International Class shall be included in each event for riders of at least 16 years of age who compete on the same Section route as the over 40 Cup.

All riders of less than 18 years of age at the date of the event will be restricted to machines of capacity not exceeding 125cc, unless the course is on a closed circuit.
