The last seasonal Management Council meeting took place yesterday 11th December in the brand new headquarter of FIM Europe in Fiumicino (Rome), after the official grand opening of Monday evening.
At the end of a year full of events, President Mr Martin De Graaff dealt with the Management Council several sporting and non sporting issues, touching base on the ended season and defining the new lines in view of the next one. New rules, calendars and proposal for the official statute are some of the topics covered.

Mr Martin de Graaff, FIM Europe President
“All proposals from the last Sporting Commission meetings from October and November were presented by Michal Sikora, responsible for sport matters. A great number of proposals were discussed in detail, this was also the case for rule changes. Most of them are homologated, some has to be discussed with the commissions. The calendar is not complete, but the provisional calendar will be published soon, the national federations have to produce their national calendars. The beyond sport matters are presented by the responsible Vice President Silvio Manicardi. A big concern is the European Insurance Directive, this can cause problems for our sport. Important is to decide which responsibility FIM and FIM Europe have in the Brussel politics. The upcoming revision of the Statutes, the Sporting Code and Disciplinary Code are urgent issues for the coming months, the respective working groups will finalise these documents before the next meeting of the Management Council in March. The Beyond Sporting commissions will meet in Rome in January”.
