Over 32.000 spectators watched an exciting meeting in the historical place of Chorzow.
Despite the rain of the day before the track was in very good condition. ONE Sport and the Track staff prepared the event and the track in the best way.
Leon Madsen from Denmark won all his heats and after heat 16 he was crowned European Champion 2018.
For the second and third overall place it was close fight the final heat and Jaroslaw Hampel from Poland got the title of European Vice-Champion. Newcomer Robert Lambert from England claimed in third position overall.
There were some good racing actions during the whole night and Michael Mikkelsen from Denmark took the overall fourth position in the standings. He showed some good overtakings during his heats. Antonio Lindbäck from Sweden is the fifth rider to stay in next year’s European Championship series.
