FIM Europe at AMZS Awards

AMZS, the Automobile and Motorcycle Association of Slovenia has invited to their traditional Award Ceremony “Motosportnik leta 2017” in the Festivalna Dvorana in Ljubljana. The best Slovenian motorcycle sports athletes were present and received their well-deserved awards. Around 300 riders, families, AMZS officials, clubs, organizers and media came together in a very well organized event. Among the participants were Mr Anton Breznik, AMZS President, Mr Bogdan Gabrovec, President of the Olympic Committee of Slovenia and Dr. Boro Štrumbelj, Director General of the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport, as well as Dr. Wolfgang Srb, President of FIM Europe. The Slovenian Motocross star Tim Gajser, two times FIM Motocross World Champion (2015 MX2, 2016 MXGP) and one of the best riders in the world, was awarded with a special trophy as Motorsports man of the year.

“Congratulations to AMZS and all those who received their trophies in recognition of their achievements. They are great ambassadors of the sport as well as for Slovenia” stated FIM Europe President Dr. Wolfgang Srb.
