Final A and Final B

Lights on the European Team Speedway Championship with Final A in Poland and Final B in the Czech Republic.

Well-known as Poland’s principal seaport and country’s fourth-largest metropolitan area, the city of Gdansk has been the perfect location for the Final A of the European Team Speedway Championship.
In front of 2.000 spectators the meeting was raced without delays, in a cloudy and cold weather. On home soil, team Poland ruled the competition from the beginning. The last heat decided the race, with team Swedish second and team French third.

Final A classification
1. Poland, 42 points
2. Sweden, 31 points
3. France, 24 points
4. Latvia, 23 points

Originally scheduled on Saturday, the final B of the European Team Speedway Championship was postponed to Sunday due to bad weather conditions.
The race in Pardubice saw the Danish team win with Mikkel Michelsen, Rasmus Jensen, Frederik Jakobsen, Andreas Lyager, Emil Breum. Second position for Great Britain ahead of Czech home riders and team Ukraina.
From the beginning of the competition, the Danish dominated the Final, while the fight for second place continued until the end. British rider Daniel Bewley ensured the promotion of the team in the last race, overtaking the Czech Vaclav Milik at the finish line.

The Final of the European Team Speedway Championship will take place on 22nd April in Stralsund, Germany: Great Britain, Poland, Germany and Denmark will fight for the win.

1. Denmark, 49 points
2. Great Britain, 33 points
3. Czech Republic, 32 points
4. Ukraina, 6 points
