In the surroundings of the beautiful town of Isola del Liri the fourth round of the European Hill Climb Championship took place in front of around 500
spectators. The event was in a very friendly “Italian” atmosphere, in the same context as the Italian Championship.
In the European Championship 26 riders took their start. Free practices were held on Saturday, qualifying practice on Sunday morning. The races took
place in two heats for all riders in very hot weather conditions.
The winners in the European Championship classes are: Class 250 GP Guido Testoni (FMI), Class Supersport: Davide Lignite (FMI), Class Superbike: Stefano Bonetti (FMI, in the picture), Class Supermoto: Philippe Bongard (FMS).
The next round will be from 6th to 7th July in Boecourt (Switzerland).
