European Bridgeston Iron Cup:
the paralympic season started in Le Mans

First round of the European Bridgestone Iron Cup on 10th and 11th June at historic Le Mans Circuit, in France.
In class 1000 great performance by Austrian rider Peter Rohr, overall and class winner followed by Italian Maurizio Castelli and French Benoit Thibal. Emiliano Malagoli had to withdraw due to a technical problem a few corners before the finish line.
In the Lesser Impaired category first place for Giacomo Tuseddu, while Umberto Troisi was unable to start due to a technical problem with his bike.

In class 600 won the Belgian Christophe Bernard ahead of home riders Willy Mourgue and Yann Boes. In the Lesser Impaired 600 class Samuele Bertolasio conquered the victory thanks to the help of his direct rival Antonio Montoya, who supplied him with some spare parts for the bike after a bad crash in qualifying.
